Today's Topic (Mon. 12/5) - 3 Disney things you're grateful for

Disney music…the emotional songs, arrangements, and performances.

Disney movies, broadway shows, and television shows.

Disney parks which have provided some of the best memories. I love WDW, but after experiencing Disneyland in California, I prefer it.

Good MONDAY Morning everyone

A perfect topic for today

#1 - I’m grateful for being blessed to take our girls to WDW every year (also a DCL once) when they were young (stopped in 2012 due to DD19’s softball schedule and it got to hard taking them out of school - we always went in September or October). So many wonderful memories made on these trips - priceless memories

#2 - I’m grateful for all my Disney decor throughout the house and that my DH has supported it by buying me a lot of it for Christmas & birthday gifts. Many people have told me that my house is one of the happiest houses they’ve been in, which is a tremendous compliment

#3 - I’m grateful for Disney+. This has made it so easy for me to start catching up with current Disney animated movies. I normally was hard core classic movies only, and now with Disney+ I’ve been introduced to Moana and Frozen 2, which are now part of my top 5 animated movies. I told Katie that when she has children I’m going to get a stingray tattoo and have her children‘s names put in it - that scene when Moana‘s grandma died literally made me have tears - very emotional for me as it made me think of how much my grandma meant to me.

I am a huge Disney fan - I’m grateful for ALL things Disney - my memories of my DD (2) growing up are all tied to Disney - even going to WDW pregnant in August - trip was planned before that shocking happy surprise happened - I really do mean all memories tied to Disney -
House - deco is Disney
Christmas deco - almost all from Disney
Family photos - Disney
All our vacations and wonderful places we’ve been - Disney
After my DD tried to kill herself and blessings to God she lived what did we do to help her refocus ? Went on a Disney cruise because it has happy memories tied to it - and a bookend of WDW - she proudly states she’s been over 30 times - she even counts the trip when I was pregnant I was there wasn’t I ??
I’m very grateful for Disney I hope to have many more trips in the future !!!

Disney:

1. The smells on Main Street and Karmell Kuche. Popcorn, sugar, frosting...yum.

2. Seeing the Castle lit up at night. Gets me every time.

3. Being able to rent DVC. We would never buy in, but enjoy having a 1 bedroom where we can relax some and I can do laundry. I lovvvee clean laundry on vacation!

1. All of the Disney ornaments on my special Christmas tree
2. All the great memories of my trips to Disneyland and WDW
3. My huge collections of Disney pins and Disney beanie babies

In short, I am grateful for EVERYTHING Disney!

1.Mom was a huge Disney fan, and when she said she wanted to celebrate her 85th birthday in WDW we bought into DVC to make it happen. We were able to accommodate 13 people at BWV for 4 nights, including her real birthday date. We enjoyed the CP, and every one of the guests treated the group to something. It was a great way to honor mom.

2.DVC Member Cruises have given me special memories. One of the best was in 2015 when DH and I were seated with other couples and one of the other gals has become a very best friend. She will be joining me and my DSis in WDW next week!

3.I am grateful for the many movies and the many beautiful family friendly products that Disney has given to the world. Mary Poppins and Coco are two of my favorites. Saving Mr Banks is a special one too! I loved watching the original TV shows with the Mouseketeers.

One of the best things about Disney that I should have said - it lead me to the DIS and I’ve made so many friends thru the DIS and on cruises after meeting in cruise meets thru the DIS - I’m very grateful !! It’s a wonderful community

Like Bobbi said the Member Cruise is one of my top favorites so far out of all my cruises because of the people and the same people who bookend stays at WDW we all had so much fun !!

3 Disney things you're grateful for

Fiest off especially this time of year, the Candlelight Processional! I never knew about it until my first time viewing at DL in 2014. I got to see it again the following year. God willing to get to do so again in the future with family and also some of my Dis extended family, too. To be part of God being publicly praised in both song and readings in a favorite place of mine as well, is so very special to me indeed.

Memories of times spent at DL with my dad especially and others as well. Keeping in prayer, God willing when the pandemic is over being able to go back with my dad along with others especially during this Christmas season. Dad and I also enjoyed doing the Easter egg hunt one year. For me, just walking closer to the park always brought me much cheer. My childhood wasn't always positive. I think being at the park can mean extra to me in that way, just fun

The joy can bring to so many especially children!

I hope y'all don't mind an off topic gratefulness post! My neighbor just came to tell me two hawks were circling my Shih Tzu in the backyard just now!!! So thankful for a caring neighbor and a little ferocious dog (to strangers) who probably would have whooped up on them

And I began listening to my Candlelight Processional CD today. DH and I will be there on Friday, dinner at Coral Reef. I really enjoy their Shrimp and Grits.
