My home office set up - When I took my work on the road last week, all I had room for was my laptop. I can see it right now and I'm truly grateful for that mobility, but it's tough working off of a singular 14" screen when you're used to using it as a small spare third. In fact, it's usually my "entertainment screen." My two main monitors in my office are each 24" screens. So, 62" of usable screen space for normal functioning. I sat down to work yesterday in my office and I felt so blessed to have my work space real estate back. I'm also back to having my wireless headset. On the road, or when I go into the office, I have a sturdier wired headset that I take. It does the job and doesn't require all kinds of settings changes like the wireless one, but it's so nice to not be tethered to a cord when I take meetings or have to make a client call.
Walking pad - I haven't gotten any use out of it since I hurt my heel, but I will. It's propped up right next to me and I plan to get back to walking and working in August. I feel like a slug without it, but grateful to know it's waiting for me when I'm ready.
Dog's Medicine - She's due for her monthly heartworm/flea/tick meds. I've got the box sitting right next to me. I'm grateful that this singular med works for her and I'm not messing around with multiple medications. I'm also grateful that I came to my senses and switched vets last year. Her old vet was grossly overpriced. The new vet doesn't inflate the price and actually goes out of their way to make sure I get all of the discounts available. Those meds are now so much cheaper. So, also grateful that they care about more than $.
