Ok ...

My aunt was given this toy a long time ago when she was a child in the 1930s.

It says it's one of the "Three Little Pigs". It's a Geo. Borgfeldt & Co. toy. It is the pig with a drum. A windup key makes the pig play the drum, it functions perfectly.

Apparently it *may* have been purchased at either the 1933 Chicago World's Fair or the 1939 NY World's Fair.

It's a wind-up toy, cloth over tin, in mint condition. We have the box, the windup key, the clothing for the pig is intact and perfect. The toy has never been played with. Period.

My questions are :

1) Who or what would be my best course of action to determine the value of this thing?

2) Is there a credible and respected Disneyana Auction House or whatever who would handle the sale if it is of any significant value at all?

Thanks in advance, for any and all guidance.

Knox

PS> Any attempts to PM me to purchase this from me online will be filed in the "DELETED" box..

This is a picture of an identical pig to ours.. however this pig is in way rougher shape. Ours is "pristine" if this is considered "Very Good" ...
