Three Down, Four to Go...and VAKL is NEXT!!!

When my husband and I purchased DVC in 2005, I decided that I wanted to stay at every DVC resort at WDW at least once! So far, we've enjoyed stays at SSR, OKW, and VWL... all were just amazing places. Different in their own unique ways, but amazing nevertheless!

I am thrilled that we will soon be able to "cross off" another one....

We just made a ressie for a one-bedroom in Kidani Village at VAKL!!

I am beyond excited and cannot wait for November to arrive!! We've never even stayed at the Lodge before, so this will be an entirely new experience (which I love!)

Normally, I'm not one to care about View, but for VAKL, its really all about the view, right?? So, I decided it would be worth the extra points for a savanna view here. I think I may have justification now if I went out and bought a better camera! We will definitely need it!

If any of my fellow DVCers have stayed at VAKL, would you mind posting a few pix for me?? Hopefully, they will help tide me over until November!

can't get the computer at home to work which has the pictures. besides all the pictures of rooms are from Jambo House.

okay the models at SSR are about Kidani.

now stayed in standard view (pool) and loved it at Jambo House, also stayed in value twice got pool view and loved it.

the resort itself is worth going to - you can see the animals in the windows.

I think if you're trying to get the full "Animal Kingdom Lodge" experience, then you will definitely want Savannah View. Have a great trip! I'm going in mid-late october for Mickey's Halloween Party...be sure to check out the Wanyama Safari! Expensive, but from what I hear, it's worth every penny!

We did the exact same thing, and I am SO glad we did. Instead of "bonding" with my home resort, I bonded with all of them so far!

We have stayed at OKW, BWV, SSR and VWL. We leave Friday for AKV, and this summer, we have reservations at BCV. That leaves BLT! We own at VB, but haven't stayed there yet (long story ), but plan to go there often. We will eventually make our way to HHI, GCV and Hawaii. That's what I LOVE about DVC. It truly feels like a different vacation every time. As long as we rotate like this (can't imagine we won't continue), it will never get old!

I'll make sure to post some AKV pics!

I've only been to SSR. Next trip in Sept/Oct will be AKV, Boardwalk with boardwalk view and VWL!! Can't wait!!
