Sorry if this posts twice, my computer is having a Monday. Anyway, if you only had 3 full days at Disney and 1 half day (not enough I know) :guilty: which parks are a must? Same with rides and shows? Thanks!!

It really depends on your interests and the ages of the people in your group. But for me AK is a must see. It is my favourite. I loved Safaris, Kali, Dinosaur, Tough to be a bug. amd for me the best show--festival of the Lion King. We also enjoyed the jungle trek and Tarzan rocks.

Our family was myself, DH, DS11, DS13 and DS14.

day 1 spend at MK untill dinner
then go to epcot for illuminations

Day 2 spend the morning at Animal kingdom
after lunch go back to magic kingdom and see whishes

1/2 day 3 spend at epcot

I would check and make sure what nights are mnsshp nights at Magic Kingdom as the park will close to guests without a party ticket at 4:00PM.
I am making my plans around the parties even though I will be attending the parties on the 30th and 31st

I'm in a similar situation. I have 3 days to work with and already have old park hoppers with some options left on them. Right now, we are planning:

Day 1: MGM and Epcot for Dinner and Illuminations
Day 2: MK all day (including Spectro & Wishes)
Day 3: Can't decide between using the (already paid for) options to do a water park or buying new admission to a theme park (maybe AK).

I don't want to hijack your thread, but if anyone has any opinions, I'm listening. I can't make up my mind as to whether to save the options for a longer trip when dedicating a day to the water parks won't mean as much because we'll have more time available versus spending the money for a family of 5 to buy one day admissions to a theme park in order to maximize our park time on the third day.

Well, I'm not sure we are going yet, still trying to convince my DH, but if we do, I plan on getting hopper passes.

Eeyore, I am also not sure what the interests or ages of your group but here is my suggestions.

Definetly do the Magic Kingdom.

For youngsters or thrill seekers then Disney/MGM is in order, I consider this a mini-version of the Magic Kindom as there is a bit of everything.

For animal lovers include Animal Kingdom in your plans. There is a possibility of doing both Animal Kingdom and a touch of Disney/MGM in the same day.

Epcot Center is better suited for older children and people who want do some exploring and/or eating. (This is actually my favorite park)

Are you going with children? If so, what are their ages? Have you been before? Will you be returning (that's probably a "duh"). A lot of it depends on you and your family.

Thanks for all of your ideas. To answer a few questions, it will just be me and my DH. If we go (still trying to convince him) it will be for our 5 year anniversary. Keep the suggestions coming!! :earsboy:

If it were just my DH and myself, we'd plan 1/2 day at Animal Kingdom, followed by the rest of the day at Epcot. Another day I would start at MK and then again finish at Epcot. I would spend a whole day at MGM, but that's not surprising since it's my favorite park. The final 1/2 day I'd wait and see which park you want to return to.

My DH would probably want to skip MK. He grew up a couple miles from DL and thinks that MK is more for kids, but he did have a great time last year at the Halloween Party.
