Three cheers for Fultons

On Friday 11-5-04 we dined for the first time at Fultons. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to return. The food and service were impeccable. Our waiter Jamal, could not have been any better.

We started at the bar where DH had a MaiTai $7.41. He said it was good.
Dinner started with an appetizer to share: Cold Seafood Platter $15.95. It had crab legs, shrimp, and crab claws. All were excellent.
Then we each had a soup. DH had New England Clam Chowder $6.95 and I had the Crab & Lobster Bisque $7.95.
The entrees for me was the King Crab Claws and Grilled Lobster tail combination which came with red potatos and corn on the cob. $44.95. DH had a combination also which included grilled sword fish, crab cake and grilled shrimp. $31.95. All was excellent but his least favorite was the crab cake.
The total bill w/tip came to about $140.00.

I'm so glad I did not let bad reviews stop me from trying this restaurant. We will definately be back.

Glad you had such a pleasant experience! We too love Fultons and have always had good service and food - but we usually eat in the bar. Their crab is incredible. Oops, now I am making myself hungry!

My DH and dad have been begging to go here for the past 6 trips and I keep telling themNO, IT GET HORRIBLE REVIEWS!

I may have to give in...whats the best item on the menu.....

DW and I ate here on our Honeymoon and it was by far the best meal of our trip, (far better than the CG). We both had the king crab leg and lobster tail combo and both were excellent. The crab and lobster bisque was some of the best I have ever had.

Don't forget to try a Key Lime Pie Martini !

I cannot pick a favorite item from the menu. Although we did not try everything, I cannot imagine anything not to be good. I really hope you get a chance to try it yourself.

We also had a fabulous meal at Fulton's in July!!! My older DD picked this restaurant, since we had never tried it before!! We were all very surprised at how much we enjoyed our meal!!!

We will definitely return to Fulton's!!!

No doubt some of the earlier bad reviews were mine--.
But it goes to show that until you try a place yourself, you can never really know how it is, or if you'll like it or not. And I'm glad you had a good meal there!!

I should add that this maxim worked for me as well. Heard a # of bad reviews about Puck's Upstairs, but decided to try it in spite of it all--enjoyed the meal very much!

Funny thing. We went once for lunch years ago and didn't like it. Never went back. Decided to stop in for stone crabs and chowder last week during the Festival of the Masters. The crabs and soup were great and we had a nice time. Surprised us greatly. No doubt, we'll go again, now.

My Family has to Vote A Thumps Up Also!!!!! We go at least once or twice a year and service and food has always been very good. We took my daughter and her Fiance this past summer and now he keeps telling me that he wants to go back. I have always wondered what went wrong for other people at this restaurant but it seems to have turned the corner for the better!
