Hi all-

Booking our WDW trip tonight (6 days in September with Dining), and we are getting an awesome deal for Pop Century.

The only problem is, there are three adults in the room. We are close, but not close enough to sleep in the same bed (ha).

We were thinking about bringing an air mattress with us, and rotating who gets the beds on different nights.

I know the rooms at Pop Century aren't that big, but I am sure we can fit the mattress in.

Would this be frowned upon?

We are trying to keep our prices down, so getting an adjoining room or a suite elsewhere are not really considerations.

Can we do it, or should we just buck up or shack up?

JWF:dance3: (here are all three of us going nuts trying to figure this out)

Yep you can do it - you will probably have to move the table but many do this and its not frowned upon.

It will fit. We put an aerobed on the floor last year at POP so our kids didn't share a bed. We just put the chairs on top of the table and moved the table over. We deflated it in the morning so it wasn't in our way.

As long as you're not exceeding the occupancy of the room (and paying any additional adult charges), you can use an inflatable mattress.

Due to limited space, strongly consider limiting the bed to a twin-size.

You don't have to deflate it - just prop it against the wall in the morning.

You may or may not be able to get bedding from Housekeeping.

Speaking of that - keep in mind if you're rotating beds that the sheets are usually only changed every few days (for conservation).

I would call the resort directly with its (407) #.

We just did this and the resort provided us with a "free" blow up air mattress. It was a twin size brand name aerobed with the pump attached to it. Housekeeping left extra sheets/pillow/blanket.

Written information provided said that you could pay for a roll away for either $10-$15 per night. However, when I got there and requested it they said they are no longer doing roll aways and gave us the free air mattress. (this was at Wilderness Lodge)

I've also seen roll-away beds at Pop. I don't know if there is an extra charge for the bed.

An air mattress works just fine - have done it myself. Just prop it against the wall during the daytime.
