WOW!!! ALOT of people posted on the TK thread!

I was gonna say disney54us, but then I thought maybe she was on the other board I'm on. But no, I'm right! So I'll PM her in case no one else did...

Went to the gym and did 30 min on the elliptical--I usually do 60 but I didn't want to overdo it my first day. Tomorrow I'll do 45, then 60 on Thursday.

Were you hoping I would not find you? Just because I killed our last thread......it could have happened to anybody. There were several of us on and posting if you go back and look. I was just in the wrong place at the right time.

Awww, Shmu, I love that movie. I can barely watch it because I cry so much. Not sure if it's from laughiing so hard or because of how incredibly sad it is. That was the first "girly movie" that my husband went to purchase by himself just to surprise me.

Hi racetrack: Guess you stay up late on the new thread too.
My mom was mad at me because I was 'on the computer' when she tried to call me. What could I possibly do on it all night? I could only visualize me sitting on my keyboard and smashing it. Do you get the commercial for an animal park where you can get close to the animals and they show the elephant sitting on the hood of the car? That's me on my computer! Actually what is making her mad is her digital box for her tv. Somehow she hits the wrong button and now it won't change channels. I'm supposed to fix it from here. I fixed it last weekend and told her someday she's going to mess things up and I won't be able to fix it. I didn't offer to drive the 25 miles to fix it either. She could go upstairs and watch her other tv that doesn't have the box. But then she cannot get her game show network on that tv. But it was the Phillies she had to watch tonight. Thank goodness they won or she really would have been in a bad mood.

Wasn't it neat that Shmu could list everyone who posted on the old thread and how many times they posted? I was surprised at how many times certain people did post. Of course that was during the time when many of use were new and didn't know how to multipost. I think we've heard from all but 3 of the regulars. We haven't left them behind after just one day off.

It must be a day for tv troubles. DH woke my up at 5am to tell me the tv won't turn on. 5am!!! You all know I'm pretty much a night owl and most likely not a morning person. You would think after being together for 13 years, he would know this by now. Wake me if there's an emergency, the kids are sick but I really don't care if the tv isn't working. Oh, and how did I fix it? I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Fixed, perfect and it only took me 5 seconds.

Yeah, that list was petty neat. I noticed we lost some regular posters along the way. But we still have each other.

I also emailed Bopsmom and lighttech to make sure they find us. Can't leave anyone behind.

Good morning friends! Its so good to see that in large part we've managed to find each other. Just a few more to check in, and no more need to worry.

Hey, I had TV troubles yesterday too! I have DirecTv, and for some reason the box in the living room kept trying to find the satellite. The other boxes worked fine. I called the tech support, told me to switch the box to a different tv, and when it still didn't work, said it was a defective box and they would send a new one out right away.

The sun has managed to come out today, its supposed to be the nicest day of the week before the rain comes in for the weekend.

My sister and I have been making trips to the dump to rid ourselves of bags and bags of leaves that the lawn guy left. There's no charge for the compost heap, but I think that Mike the compost guy thinks we're insane. We don't have a pickup, so we've had to make multiple trips. We have another one planned for later today.

Somehow, all this craziness with closing the thread happened at the most inopportune time for me. This week is crazy. And I'm still a bit miffed that they just closed it without notice. What if we were all tech-silly and had no idea how to link, PM, mass email? We would just be lost to each other!

Ok, have to go already. Will chat again later when I get the chance. Have a good day all!

Was yesterday full moon? It's terrible how we rely on tvs. Mom called this am and she got hers to work. She doesn't know how but it's working. I told her that's the important thing.

You should tell Mike that with the price of gas, you just enjoy getting out and seeing how many different ways there are to get to the compost pile.

Positive attitude...we had thought ahead and had our plan in place. You were the first to notice and could get us right up and running again. We didn't have TKers lost in space! So the timing was good.?! We're still here with most checked in within 24 hrs.

isn't it so great that magikitty started the original TK thread and then started this one too?! i know we all wanted it that way, but i'm glad it just worked out that way, too!

yaaayyy! a beautiful day! we have a lot of last minute running around to do today. tonight is my kids' birthday party, they're soooo excited. but we have to get some stuff done too. gymnastics first then errands. then somehow clean the house (thankfully the party is not here), before heading out to the place at 5:30. we're having it this year at one of those places that has all the inflatable play stuff, kind of like pump it up. i don't know if any of you have heard of that place, but you get the idea.

soooo i may not be able to get on here until tomorrow morning, or late tonight.


hey, guess what? i felt the baby move this morning! i think.

it's been going on for a couple of days, but sometimes it's hard to tell if it's really that or .... well, you know.
