Hi everyone! Just got back from rehearsal and decorating the hall. Was up till 3:30 am last night finishing the favor bags. I am exhausted. I still want to dye my hair tonight. Working on getting motivated.

Way too much to catch up on tonight. But I do want to add that I saw Phelps won his 7th gold!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!

I'll make sure I take lots of pictures tomorrow. There might be some relatives trying to crash the wedding so it should be interesting to say the least. Oh, and stepmom cried through the whole rehearsal. I can just imagine what tomorrow will be like.

Hi racer sorry I missed you. Had a feeling you would be running yourself ragged. Yes, yes lots of pic's, wedding crashers???:confused3

Good morning! Go Team USA! What a swim Phelps had last night.

disney54us, I went over and posted a "welcome!" to Aliciajab. The Mickey's Magical Milestones tour is at MK, its about 4 hours and traces the roots of Mickey the character. From what I've read, you get in a little early, and take the train to Toontown (which I've never found). You learn about Walt's creation of Mickey, get to meet the characters at their house, etc. Its was a cheaper tour, and I didn't want to dedicate an entire day to a tour. It was a good compromise. Depending on our EPCOT schedule, I'd like to squeeze in the Behind the Seeds tour also.

I could bat my eyelashes all I want but unless that's the magical way to put money into my bank account, MNSSHP is not happening. I figure its good fodder to blackmail a return next year. Don't worry, I'm biding my time. I figure I should check PI out this time.

Ok, off to breakfast and Olympics coverage!

Ooh, forgot to add that I have another concert tonight! Its at the casino, so I'm going to swing by those penny slots and hopefully win some money for MNSSHP!

Thanks for welcoming her:goodvibes We all know how it feels to be to shy to post. Okay don't sweat it. You always need a reason to go back to Disney, so it works not to see it all!!
Have fun a the concert, who are you seeing?

Hey. Anybody know if you can search threads/replies by poster? I was trying to remember an old thread, and I can't remember the title, but I can remember some of the posters screen names.

Hey the computer guru knows the answer:banana: yes. Sorry still trying to use my physic power to tell you where the is it the seat or the base.
Do you have a garage? maybe there. How about in the crawl space or attic. Laundry room, if you took the padding of to was maybe you put it down and there is stuff piled and it's hiding. Yeah for DS he is really doing great in his Big boy room:thumbsup2.

Okay, stripping the door today. Old, antique to all the hardware off and really got it to come up. Dbil is over helping, his kids are here so DS has company.
later killers!

:scared1: Oh my goodness!!! where is everyone??? I can't believe I'm the last one who posted and at what 3:25 well in dis board time:rotfl2:. Gosh y'all are going drive me to the snarky threads:lmao:.
I guess you are having a exciting weekend. Well we needed a bump:confused3

Just stopping by to get a post in. DH and DS10 are at the races with DH's parents. They went to a dirt track in Bear Ridge, VT leaving me and DS7 home. (Like I really wanted to go anyways. )

I was just cleaning out my subscribed folder and noticed that I had "killed" 4 threads. Woo Hoo! I guess I can continue to be a TKer. :rotfl:

HE DID IT!!!!!!!! Michael Phelps won his 8th gold medal!!!! I am SO proud of him! Go USA!!! Our boys are the best!!

I'm also SO proud of Dara Torres! 41 years old and she wins 2 silver medals in less than 30 minutes! Just amazing.

I thought the marathon was boring, until the end. 38 years old and winning the Olympic marathon?!? WOW!

I'm just so impressed. I'm grinning like an idiot right now! I just know when our boys are up there getting their gold medals I'm gonna bawl like a baby! I'm just so proud to be an American right now!

OK, enough with the mushy stuff....

I'll give a full report tomorrow, okay today, after I get some sleep. I will say, it was a blast and no wedding crashers.

Wow look at you racer, after 2 in the morning checking in. Glad to hear no wedding crashers and it all went well. Can't wait to hear wedding report.

Hey I know I probably won't know how to do this even if you guys explain it but how do you put the link to this thread for someone????

Hey disney54!

I usually just let the person know that I have a link for them and edit copy, edit paste the link shown in the address box for that webpage. Ex: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1921713 That is the link to the Hi thread for aleciajab. Now I've seen others able to use a title like "Bike Thread" and all you do is run your cursor over the title and click and it will take you to that thread. If you want to do it that way I have no idea.

Hi everyone.
Nothing to say just :happytv: watching the Olympics.
Went to the local fair. Only a dollar to get in :rotfl: Takes us less than an hour to walk through everything except the carnival rides and eat. Usually the animals are quiet but they all had something to say this time. Very noisy.

Hello all! I was just talking with my Mom and she was telling me that my Aunt had an interesting experience. My Aunt was shopping my towns Farmers Market when she came across someone selling puppies. My Aunt decided to put a deposit down on one of the last 2 that were there and found out that Steve Tyler (Aerosmith) had purchased the other one! When my Aunt went back to pick up the puppy at the markets closing time who should be there picking up his puppy but STEVE TYLER! My Aunt was so giddy! She spoke with him and he teased her about buying the puppy because he had thought about buying both of them. I guess he also signed autographs and visited with the other Farmers Market attendees.

My Aunt is still :cloud9:!

Afternoon all! Gorgeous lazy Sunday here.

Saw Gaving DeGraw last night. probably his more well known song is "I Don't Wanna Be", the theme song from One Tree Hill. His song on the radio now is called "Fell in Love with a Girl". Super talented and charming with great dimples. I was kinda bummed b/c I paid extra for reserved seating (there was also general admisission). Persons from GA snuck over and sat in front of me! They were really lax about seating, which is unfair coz I spent twice as much!

To make it worse, when the lights darkened, they all stood up so we couldn't see! Now, I was in the fifth row, practically face to face with Gavin. It was so unnecessary. Luckily, the people next to me felt the same way and got the girls to sit. The rest of the concert was fantastic.

After the concert, I when down to the gaming floor to hit the penny slots. I shouldn't do that! I was up $16 dollars and should have walked away, but I got greedy (visions of MNSSHP in my head) and totally lost it again. I did win a free T-shirt for playing, probably the most expensive T-shirt I ever got.

Woo-hoo! GO Michael Phelps! I missed it. Gonna have to catch the review later today. I'm watching sports I didn't even know existed and thoroughly enjoying it. Did anyone catch trampoline? Or walking during track and field? And I never imagined how physically taxing badminton could be! I've been looking for Olympic gear at the mall, but it seems the only place to get it is online. Bummed.

Ok, Pikester, you just gave me the flutters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Aerosmith. They're actually tops of bands-I'd-love-to-see-before-I-die, along with U2, Madonna, ABBA, Celine Dion, and Barry Manilow. (I know, weird). I think Joe Perry is one of the hottest things to walk the earth.

I must be ovulating. I definitely have a healthy appreciation for men lately. I blame it on brown rice. I'm trying to eat healthier, and as an Asian, rice-free is so NOT going to happen. So I've switched to brown rice, while disappointing in flavor (too nutty) I'm slowly getting used to it. We'll see.

Good day to everyone and back to the Olympics! Go Team USA!

HELLO FRIENDS.
:hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

I tried.......I really, really, tried.
I just can't go back and read everything.
I was having to start on page one hundred fifty-something.
I should be able to be here regular again.
Our routine is set in place and we start a rigid schedule tomorrow.
That means my days will be more structured.

I'm getting ready to go work on the rest of the Flat TKers right now.
I'll be back on tonight or in the morning to post more pics.
This time I'll let everybody know who is who. (Thanks M&N for reminding me:thumbsup2 )

You needed to with no one noticing go tell one of the ushers. Then they should come and check tickets. Some years back DD wanted tickets for Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World (alternative/emo) DH got tickets and though it is a "outside' venue (lawnseats up in the back seating on the floor). We ended up w/box seats, which worked great I had 5 8th graders to watch over and the box put us away from the mosh pit. The kids thought it was cool b/c they could get waitress service. But slowly people 'the roamers' started coming in the box and as it b/c more crowded that's when I made my way to the usher. They came in and asked to see everyone's ticket stub.
At least you came away with a free T-shirt:thumbsup2. Joe Perry, that's it I think his wife now ex she went to the same school as GF. I know I have musical taste across the board, but yes you too are all over the place:laughing:. See I like brown rice, but they always say that the Asian diet is more healthy, they eat lots of rice, veggies, fish etc.

Ah, don't worry, but I know how you feel. Just jump in, I mean you did a flip and have to ready for Disney.

I went and got my new phone today! it's a Samsung Glyde, and is very much like an iPhone. As of right now I hate it! :lmao: but BFF says she hated hers for about 2 days until she got used to it. it's just VERY different from my RazR that I've had for 3 years! The coolest thing is that when they transferred my contacts from the old phone, they also transferred my pictures! So I still have the sweet pic of my puppy as my wallpaper!

I was gonna get phone for the kids that were free with the 2 year contract, but they must have been either closeouts or online only, becuase they didn't have any. Cheapest decent phone there was $50. So I decided, WTH, I got them each a Glyde too. Only $80 and they will think I'm the coolest mom in the world! (for about 15 minutes, anyway!:lmao: ) I know, they're getting spoiled, but if I'm gonna spend $50 for a piece of junk, I'd rather spend a bit more and get something really good. Can't wait to see their reactions when they get home and see what I got!!

Shmu, get those pix going so we can see them!! Can't wait to "meet" all my fellow TKers!

Watching gymnastics now. It used to be my favorite, but now i much prefer the swimming. The guy who was just on messed up alot--too bad. Now he's walking funny. I hope he didn't get hurt!

Later killers! Gonna be an EARLY to bed night for a change!

Evening everyone. I think I've recovered enough from the wedding to sit down at the computer. :rotfl:

The wedding actually started off with a slight hitch. Stepmom was suppose to be walked down the aisle by her 2 oldest sons but at rehearsal, her oldest backed out. Excluding that, everything went beautifully. There were 16 people in the wedding party, including 3 flower girls. :scared1: All the little ones did wonderfully. Including DD5 who I expected to run down the ailse screaming "Pappy's getting married, Pappy's getting married!!!" :lmao: Luckily, she decided that her Pappy was counting on her to be a big girl and she walked like a little lady down the aisle.

Stepmom cried through the whole ceremony. Not a surprise there since she cried through the rehearsal. Nobody tripped and fell so that was another plus. The minister talked alot about the blending of 2 families and how when they decided to get married, they were accepting all the kids into their family no matter what. It was a nice touch.

The reception was great. The kids danced the entire night. I think they only sat down for 15 minutes to eat quick. Dad and stepmom picked some disney song for DH and I walk into the reception. Do they know us or what? :lmao: Since my stepmom's father passed away a long time ago, she asked DH to share the father/daughter dance with her. He was really touched that she thought that much of him. DH is usually a really laid back kind of guy but stepsis got him out there to dance to the YMCA (gee, I hope someone got that on video). At one point, goth stepbro was dirty dancing with my dad's uncle.

The wedding crashers were suppose to be my dad's brother. When my dad first told him that he was getting married, dad's bro got all pouty because he wasn't in the wedding. My dad, just being him, asked him to be in the wedding. Well, uncle found out that he may have to play in some pool tournament the same weekend. Instead of just telling my dad, uncle had the word passed through the family. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and uncle wasn't going to play in the tournament and told other family members that he was just going to show up at the reception to start something. Yeah, this is a 45 year old man. But thankfully, he never did. If he had, you all might have seen my dad's reception on the news.

I think one of the highlights of all this was SIL. Up until a week before the wedding, she was saying that she didn't want to be in it. She hated the dress, didn't want to get her hair done, yada, yada, yada. But once the day actually came, she was the one who showed up early at stepmom's house to help her get ready, and do her makeup. She sat and held stepmom's hand when she was getting nervous. I was proud of her to say the least.

I don't have any pictures loaded into the computer yet. I will get some in tonight and post them tomorrow.

Racetrack, glad the wedding went well! And SO glad your uncle didn't show up and behave like a jerk.

Ok, now that that's out of the way....

Pikester-way cool story!!! Aerosmith is one of my all-time favorites. I went to see them in concert twice. Once with my dad when I was a tween, and then quite a few years later with my mom. They put on a great show both times.

disney54us-I went and checked out that thread you were talking about. I posted the link to here...I hope you don't mind. :goodvibes

Shmu-Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures along with a who's who list.

whgrn-I just watched the same guy in gymnastics. Felt bad for him with that fall. I missed Phelps win his last 2 golds. :sad1: In fact, no Olympics for the last 2 days. I'll make up for it this week though.
