We live fairly close to Kansas City, but tickets never seem to be available. Daytona or Pocono or Bristol would be awesome...ok any race would be awesome! I have to give some props to Kyle Busch.... He used to have Pella Corp. as a sponsor in the Busch series and that is where my DH works.

It looks like a lot of races are not sold out this year. Seemed like empty rows at Michigan. I'm sure Bristol will be crammed. That's where I would really like to go. I do not like Sat night races though. Have to stay up too late and then no race to watch Sun afternoon. Please don't give anything to Kyle Busch...He's got enough of everything.

I can't get over the KK commercials! He was just in Iowa last week or the week after for the Knoxville Nationals (sprint cars). I can't believe he was that close and I didn't get to see him! I always tell my DH I'm running away with Kasey! Our librarian just retired this past school year. She was by far one of my favorite people to work with! I think subbing would be a fantastic job! I am a GEMS counselor at my church too for MS age girls.....not that does get a bit crazy...but I still love it!

Didn't they say that the summer race at Daytona didn't even sell out? Nascar needs to do something though. I know last year, Pocono sent me an ad in the mail offering some kind of discount on tickets a couple of weeks before the race. Nothing this year. All my kids would want to go and with the price of tickets, it just cost too much.

Or people could be just tired of watching Kyle win.

There seemed to be some mix up about the prize for correct guessing. The winner gets to be the invisible godmother. No naming priveleges. Lighttech is stressed enough please!

I forgot to give my philosophy on missing/loosing things. They are always in the last place you look. I lost my cell phone. It was in the bottom of my purse. It's a small purse and who knows how I missed seeing it. I had my mom call me so I could hear the ring and could not believe it was there.

I have to agree with that last sentence. Did Michael Phelps stand up and count on his fingers the number of golds he won and then make a cutsie bow to everyone? 18 is just so arrogant! I think he enjoys the boos.

So now it's official with Tony and Ryan. Have you heard any talk about how they will get along?
Do you know what the problem was with Jr and his crew chief at Watkins Glen? I just heard Jr interviewed and him saying that Tony Jr was the only person he wnated up on his box even if he made a wrong call on pitting.

I don't know how Tony and Ryan will get along. Have they had problems before? I can't remember since it seems like Tony has had problems with just about everyone.

I think the thing with Jr and Tony Jr had something to do with pitting. I think Jr is just getting some tough breaks right now and he's just frustrated along with Hendrick too. I don't think it's anything serious about Tony Jr not being crew cheif.

That's good. It just seems like Jr is trying so hard to be positive and a leader for his team. I guess he did do better than Jeffie and Jimmy. Hendrick can't complain about his driving.
I thought Tony and Ryan had a run in earlier. But like you said, Tony has run ins with most drivers. He just speaks his mind...not shy about it.

Wake up everyone! Good Morning. What a wonderful day to NOT be at Disney! At least it's not a hurricane but they are expecting high winds and tornado warnings. Friends say it's to go right through Orlando. I don't think the castle has hurricane shutters!

Shmu! Yeah! Its so good to see you around again. I missed you. The Flat TKers are hilarious. They look so cute! And that pic with your nephew and Pooh just breaks my heart its so adorable.

My DN is very special to my heart. He is a miracle. They couldn't have kids for the longest time. Tried everything and spent so much money. They tried one more time and God blessed them with a baby boy.

Shmu Loved the pictures. Now I can wear crocs at WDW.

Update: Its a miracle! The travel agent called me. My papers went out today! Its coming from Long Island, so it should be here day after tomorrow! Woo-hoo!

Brown rice is getting more bearable with the discovery of adding thai chili sauce. It makes everything better. Had brown rice, broccoli, and two steamed dumplings for lunch. Not the most exciting, but I'm saving those calories for vacation!

Yay for papers.
We eat brown rice too for health reasons. Better with flavor added.

I haven't been on for a bit, I just got hired today so now I will be a working bopsmom.
