I was just reading my emails and had this joke...I love it.

God is Watching
Children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic school for lunch At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, 'Take only one, God is watching.'
At the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. Moving through the line a boy wrote another note to leave by the cookies, 'Take all you want, God is watching the apples.'

Thought this would give you early birds a good morning laugh.

I'm trying to catch up on emails. I have dial up and it takes a while to open those with pictures so I tend to let them pile up. I open those that I know are not forwarded stuff first. I have a cousin who does not like the jokes. I have to write her notes. So while they open, I'm checking out the DIS!

Yeah, I use my time productively too. I check out airline prices for our vacation. Looking at rental cars right now. I still have no idea what we are going to do to get all of us down there. Though there may be less of us than planned. I'll explain that one later....it has to do with SIL.

Morning all! The dreaded thread lock watch is on...page 252~

Marcel54! I totally agree about the rental car plan. I make several reservations at different companies and watch them every week. You can always make changes. The transportation board is really good about posting new promo codes and when a markely reduced rate comes out. Last November, I got a Jeep Commander for $125 for the week, unlimited mileage! My flight got in late, and I had a "whatever is left in the lot" reservations---I think they call it a Wild Car ressie. The compact cars get rented first, coz they're the cheaper rate. I took a gamble, but it was so exciting!

Ooh, I missed the SIL stories. Yeah!

Grey and gloomy here. My laundry is help captive outside. It may be days before I go on search and rescue. I hate to use the dryer unnecessarily, especially when its supposed to be spring!

I don't watch racing, but I did hear the story about what happened last weekend. So I too found the picture amusing. I like how there are backstories to the racers. And because there are not that many of them, its easy to get involved!

BTW, day 3 of keeping the number 2 spot in my fantasy league! The boys aren't talking to me anymore....poor sports.

I'm DYING to read my book today, but it'll have to wait until lunch. Its so good already!

Hi, Been crazy and gosh I don't think I'll ever catch up!! Can't do it now and I haven't read everything, but I don't think you have to rename the thread. I believe when they close it, it is locked but still there and they put a link to click to bring you to the continuing one. I believe others have carried the name or just added part II. Hope that makes sense. Also, they don't usually do it at 250 sometimes it takes a while and they would contact you Magikitty.

Well, DH's job seems to be safe...for now. They are making HUGE staffing cuts at his company though. Mostly in Customer Service which they are sending to INDIA so they can pay someone $3/hr. If this doesn't stop the "bleeding of money" then they will make more cuts in the months ahead or sell the business. Oh, and get this...DH is supposed to train those who will be taking his employee's jobs and keep his employees "happy" while they make this transition so they won't bolt for another company. What a joke!!! Who is going to stick around KNOWING that they will be losing their job in a month???? How dumb is that?????
So now we sit on pins and needles waiting for the next ax to fall or DH to find another job. This economy stinks!!!!!
