:tinker: Congrats Magikitty & Whgrn on the tags! Never knew the TF took requests. Yeah!!!!!:cheer2: Also...we hit page 201 now. :cheer2:

Been busy fighting for computer time w/ the kids off this week. Will try to comment on everything later.

BTW...its snowing here again. Serenity now!!!!!::rolleyes1

Oops, forgot. Lighttech I hope everything works out with the pre-K situation. I'm sure it will you will find a place DS loves and you are comfortable:goodvibes. Then you, will feel better that all is in place.

Update on car, went to fill out Police report, came in through the back. I knew AppleBee's was in the same 'center' as the PD, but literally the are next door neighbors!!! Where she was parked right next door is the PD w/ Police cars and where they would bring people in that they arrested. Wow, such brazen punks!

Thanks! And, I can't believe that they would do that right next to the police station!

Oh dear! Warm thoughts your way!

I need to get a bag for DD to carry in the park. I have a bagelline but it's too big for what she needs. You guys have any suggestions for a smaller sling type bag for her? I swear it's harder to get her ready for this trip than when it's the 6 of us going. :lmao:

I got a bag at our AAA. It goes over the shoulder. I know they like backpacks but they would scare me that someone could get to it easier. I'm sure it is harder to get her ready.

I think the police should be more observant.

Have to go watch the college basketball game---I'm for North Carolina Tar Heels. I actually like Duke better but they lost already.

Wow! :scared1: Brazen punks is exactly right. Along with totally unobservant police officers. Weren't there any hidden cameras around? I would think since the PD is there, there would be tons of them.

I forgot all about AAA. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll head over there tomorrow after school so she can check them out. I don't really want her to have a backpack either. I prefer something she can wear at all times even on the rides.

Yeap, but the neighboring city they come from they could give two hoots!!

March Madness!!! Ir works great for the radio stations around here. They do the same team up groups against each and you text or call your vote.

Well calling them brazen punks was being polite on the boards:laughing: I have many other things that have come out of my mouth:confused3.
Now lets see, DD 12 those nylon (sort of sacks) draw stings that sling over their shoulders/back. They come in cool colors and designs. The $$$ are the sports name ones but target always caries them w/cool designs and colors and a better price!

WOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GOT A TAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you MagiKitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

disney54us-I know exactly what kind of bag you are talking about. DD uses one for her gym clothes. But I think that will be too big just for the park. She only has to carry her cell, camera, tiny wallet and some travel size sunscreen and hand sanitizer. She's not allowed to carry any sort of medications (chaperones will hold all that stuff). Going to take her out tomorrow to look around.

How's DN and baby?

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

At last! At long last!! The Tag Fairy ROCKS!

And yes, you can have more than one tag. Some people have 3! But I just LOOOOVE mine!

Off to the gym to celebrate on the elliptical. OK, I admit it, I'm weird...

Later Killers!!

Would ya just look at that weight loss ticker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GO!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I love the elliptical machines too. I was thinking about getting one. Sears had the NordicTrak brand on sale last week for 399.00 but I decided against it for now....Since I did just dump a load in Atlantic City ha ha. :scared1:

This site has some fanny packs that are believe it or not kinda stylish (I know I know ha ha.) DD has tons of those mesh drawstring bags from cheerleading. At one point she had a small one that only held a few things, but still had the strings that went over the shoulders. I will take a look and see if I can find it. It has been a while and it probably says something like "cheer nationals" lol, but if I can find it I will send you a pic and if it works it's yours. :goodvibes

Those bags are awesome. Even the fanny pack. :lmao: I love all those bright patterns. I may have to get myself a new one for our next trip. That would be great if you could find that bag and post a picture. A small one of that type might be just what she needs. Thanks! :goodvibes

Okay I'll have to keep thinking. The one thing is when they are not full the are light and don't take up much room, but if she has a cool day she still has room to throw a hoodie into it.
DN and baby went home today, talk to her b/f she left hospital. Then called later, voicemail, she called back, got my voicemail and finally got her. She was going to call back, taking a shower baby was sleeping:thumbsup2. Haven't heard from her hope she's getting some sleep:goodvibes.

I have one of those I could sell you:rotfl2: basically new. DH bought it when he developed elevated blood pressure, I think used it one week and that was it. Gosh I need to get rid of that thing:rotfl2:.

OOOh, I didn't even think of the hoodie part. We went last August so hoodies weren't even on the packing list. I have to remember that she's going in April and will probably get some cool nights down there. I'll bring it up to her tomorrow and see what she thinks. Heck, if she finds one that she really likes, she could always use it in November.

OOOhh, some very cool bags, totes etc. They had me at 'beach':goodvibes

Yea, thanks to Dreamin' (I was googling for her lol) I think I have found my new favorite site. Who know a fanny pack could look so stylish. :worship: All hail the fanny pack!!!:worship:

Another bag idea, if you want small, would be one that criss-crosses her from one shoulder to the opposite hip. DD uses one for school--she doesn't have to take it off, or actually "carry" it, and she doesn't lose it! Something like that could stay on when she goes on rides, and should be just the right size for what she needs to carry.

OTOH, I really like the idea of carrying a hoodie for chilly AMs and evenings. And those gym bag thingies are great--we have a ton of them here and we ALL make good use of them!

Wish *I* was going to Disney soon. It's WARM there!

Morning everyone!

Oh, I missed the bag conversation. With BF being unable to carry anything, I'm a pro at finding bag that I can carry so my hands are free. I started out with a fanny pack--I found a cute Nine West one on clearance on HSN. Since we usually go on vacation during the late fall/early winter times, I've graduated to a sling messenger bag. I got mine from Marshalls/Target, those discount stores. It was an off season school backpack, waterproof and light, with pockets for water and sunblock.

If your DD is just going to carry a few small items, not counting the hoodie, I just saw a stylish sling type purse at NY&Company. Something you can definitely use outside of a theme park. I actually prefer these sling bags just so I don't put my bag down and walk away! I also have a cute fanny pack thats a LeSportSac knockoff, really cute characters, waterproof, and so light!

I don't usually carry a hoodie but we do have anoraks that fold up to a teeny size. I also wear it on the water rides so I don't get completely soaked! Hope you find the right bag for your trip.

(April) Showers today. Been really difficult to shake the funk off the brain and get motivated.

Ooh elliptical. I love that one too! I feel so silly coz in the beginning its so fun and it makes me giggle. I want one too, but they're just so big a bulky. I saw a compact one once and when I went back to buy it, it was gone. But I'm still using my stepper. While not as entertaining as an ellipitical, and tougher on the knees, its small enough to put away every night.

Talk to you later everyone! Its Friday! Woo-hoo!

Morning All!!! Just checking in. really need to get some stuff done, can't believe it's Friday and Easter break is just about over:eek:. Check in later.

Just a quick check in.

Dreamin' - So exciting for your DD (I think that may have been one of the multi quotes I lost yesterday.) I'll also put some thought into the bag thing. I'm constantly trying new ones in new configurations to hold DDs stuff as he graduated from a full size diaper bag to just needing a few things. (Although, I suppose I'll be back to that diaper bag again soon... :goodvibes )

Afternoon everyone!!! Cloudy and dreary here but no rain yet.

Thanks for all the great ideas on the bag for DD. I'm going to take her out today and let her try on a few before we decide. I worry about her forgetting it somewhere if she takes it off.
