Hey, that does sound like fun!!!! And, I could use some good luck too!:lmao:
One question though...How do you get the confetti inside w/o breaking the shell?-

I don't know how to get the confetti in there either but I did find a website that sells them pre-made.

So, they're for good luck? Maybe I could use one on SIL for her current career dreams. Or just maybe, I could crack one on her head hard enough to knock some sense into her. :rotfl2:

pepper23-I would be close enough to come watch you in A.C. but lucky me gets to go to a bridal show that weekend. I just can't wait. :lmao:

Don't ask me, it takes me three trys to multi-quote :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I am off to bed to ponder this and other unanswered questions. However, I'll probably just have dreams about being attacked by micro-puffed marshmellow candy while running on a treadmill. :scared1:
Goodnight all!

Too funny about SIL. :rotfl:

Oh boy a bridal show!! Well there is always the free food (really really stuck on the food thing tonight. :rolleyes1 )

Free food is the only reason I'm going. :goodvibes Stepmom still has to decide on a cake. I guess I could sacrifice an afternoon to go taste test cakes from all the different bakeries around here. :lmao:

sigh...it will be tough but well...sigh I guess someone has to go test all those cakes. Hang in there Champ, we are rooting for you. ;)

Hey everyone!!!! Guess what? 500 posts!! :woohoo: I finally made it and I owe it all to you all of you here. Gosh, I never thought I would get here.

:cheer2: Getting the VETS on this thread. :yay:

The peep link about the library was a riot! Had to send it to my librarian friends. I think Puny Pirate should have a peep friend.

I don't know what I'm doing up this late...I guess I'll say good morning!

Ah Ha!! Someone finally mentioned something I can have on the South Beach Diet...Boiled Eggs!!!

You guys are making me hungry. :cutie: (chosen because it looks like a strawberry...told ya I was hungry)

I have to ask a question about Peeps...Are they a big thing or something? I noticed there was a whole thread dedicated to them. :rotfl:

Welcome Back :wave2:

OMG. I just read that entire thread- it is too funny. Check it out if you get a chance.

DL55 got me interested. :thanks:

I made this after seeing a website that sold t shirts-I just didn't like the colors they used.

They sell pre made confetti eggs in our grocery stores. We make them for the school carnival. Bringing the the egg shells are a class competition at school. Buying is easier!
To make them:
Lightly break the top of egg shell, leaving nickel sized hole in top, wash and dry egg shell( I used DD old bottle dryer stand for this), fill the shell with confetti, take a small square piece of tissue paper and glue over the hole. Let dry. You can also dye the egg if you choose. The dyed shell makes even more of a mess:rotfl2: on the cement. Our sidewalks are speckled on Easter Monday.

Too much work for me. :lmao: Found a website I can order pre-made ones from. All the fun and none of the work. Just the way I like it. :rotfl:

Since we have been on the subject on peeps, thought I would add this for all your enjoyment. It's from our Halloween Parade.

Ok, I'm off for tonight or this morning if you want to think of it that way. :rotfl2: School tomorrow.

Have a great night everyone.

You should post this on the peep watch thread. I got into it and had to read the whole thing so I'm still up. :surfweb: Now probably won't be able to sleep. Didn't know they were made in PA.

Good Morning Killers!!, I missed so much in one day. Checked in at one point, didn't have time to post, came back later and poof:wizard: pages!
I'll break up my post, b/c one so much, two that smilie thing and going back and deleting. Wow, did anyone notice the normal smilies are back:dance3:. Maybe it was a computer clitch?

I agree :thumbsup2 although sometimes it could be the way a person interprets because the written word lacks the subtly of oral language.

The Peep Watch on the CB: co-worker is a rude, ignorant fool. (There is a separate thread discussing this co-worker) OP is leaving peeps in the co-worker's cubicle (anonymously). Other posters are giving their ideas as to where to put them or how to display them. The suggestions are funny.

Hey, I like them hard and stale too! :rotfl2: I discovered that Peeps have their own website. :rotfl:

My favorite smilie for the CB or Budget board ::duck:

Thanks for clearing up the 'Peep Watch', sounds funny, I'll have to check the thread.

Hey everyone!!!! Guess what? 500 posts!! :woohoo: I finally made it and I owe it all to you all of you here. Gosh, I never thought I would get here.

Be back in a minute to comment on all I missed today.

 :woohoo: :yay: You did it!!!!! Congrats!!!:dance3:

woo hoo!!!!! :cool1:

Sorry guys, I know I have been away a lot, I am going to go attempt to catch up now. :goodvibes

Welcome Back!!!

pixiedust: I need to get something done today...you can tell I live alone! The sun woke me up but now it's gone. I must get a walk in today.

Morning...

good morning everyone!

i missed the whole night, so i'm going back to catch up.

but........ :cheer2: :dance3: way to go, dreamin in pa!!!!:dance3: :cheer2:

Ok, now back to our regularly scheduled programming. :rotfl:

lighttech[/B}-I ended up getting 50 photos for free. I was able to pick them up in 2 hours and the quality was pretty good. Sometimes I just love the budget board.

Bopsmom-thanks for the update on the seeds. I decided for Easter, I'm gonna put some gardening supplies in their baskets. I figure I can fine little watering cans and such. I'll add the seeds and put a little note that they are from a very nice lady that mommy knows. :goodvibes Oh, and that poem of your DD was great. Loved the Britney line.

magsnden-:wave2: Always seem to miss you on here.

whgrn-We live right by the Just Born factory. How I wish we could take a tour of that place. My kids get so excited when they see the "Peeps Car" driving around. :rotfl2:

Ok, favorite Easter Candy. I don't eat too much candy but I do love the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs. And they have to be the ones that come in the egg cartons. :lmao: I only buy peeps for the kids but maybe I steal one or two. (ok, maybe three or four but that's all, I swear) I love white chocolate so if the kids get any of that, I still it too. Mmmm, maybe I like candy more than I like to admit. :rotfl:

Hi, dreamin, can you tell me more about the CVS offer? Is this just online or when you go to the store? Cute idea w/gardening supplies in the easter baskets. Is that what they call it "Just Born" factory? Cute!!
:thumbsup2, yep I love those, the one's that come in the egg carton, I would have to say that's my favorite and jelly beans, but not the expensive fancy ones the old fashion bag of Brachs and I like the little ones best!

I thought I was the only one that liked the old school marshmallow eggs. :thumbsup2
Not the fancy Russel Stovers ones but the ones in the egg cartons.:cool1:

Do any of you put cascarones in the kid's easter baskets or is it just a Texas thing? I love them and so does DD but DH hates the mess:headache: every party has a pooper...:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 :yay: for marshmallow eggs in the egg cartons. I guess it's a TX. thing if I have to ask what are cascarones???:confused3

Arrgggg, this is the THIRD time I have had to type this!!! I keep deleting my response to Disney54 trying to clean up because I get the dumb ol' "too many smilies" error....well I didn't give up...I am really "Stinky McStink" at multi-quoting.

Well you are in luck!!! I have the bottle right here. :thumbsup2 It is Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Nutri-Browns. B1 Cool Brown, Iced Macchiato.

How fun would a gathering be!!! I go to Atlantic City a lot that would be fun!! I am going March 16th - 18th if anyone is close by PM me and I will be happy to let you watch me win big on the slots...yea right lol.

Welcome to the world of Vets!!!!!!

Okay, I am going to find some current stuff to comment on now..heck this was two weeks ago for you guys!!!

doesn't that drive you nuts, you have to go back and delete out smilies and try to keep count if your 'clear' to post. Thanks, you could do a commercial for them:thumbsup2. AC, you go that often? Hope you win big!!

You're right, they can't be the fancy ones. If I'm lucky, I can find them in dark chocolate too. :cloud9: But I'm just as happy if I get them in milk chocolate.

Have to be honest...didn't know what cascarones are. So, I went to look them up on google. Now that I know what they are, they do sound like fun. My kids hardly ever eat the hard-boiled eggs anyway so maybe this could be a fun alternative. And I know they would annoy the heck out of DH if I put those in the kids baskets. :rotfl2:

Alright, now I'm dying to know about cascarones!

Okay gotta go, be back later to continue my never ending multi quote catch up:laughing:.

good morning everyone!

i missed the whole night, so i'm going back to catch up.

but........ :cheer2: :dance3: way to go, dreamin in pa!!!!:dance3: :cheer2:

Thank you. I feel like such a grown-up now. :rotfl2:

The CVS offer was online. You have to register on their photo site and then they send you an email for a certain number of free prints. After following all the steps I could, I ended up with the 50 for free. And since I still haven't printed all the pictures I wanted from our last vacation, I figured a little time was worth it.

So the printing is done at the store?? But you order online? Sorry, you know I'm so computer challenged.

Has anyone noticed no notifications??? Or at least not consistent, they come and go and go!

OMG, I was emptying D/W and my WDW frosted mug (you know the one w/liquid inside and you put in the freezer) just came apart:eek:. Do you think this constitutes a Emergency trip to the World to get a replacement????:rotfl2:
