Can I add the "thread killer" too?
I honestly admit I am very computer illiterate. Now this could really be a thread killer!
Thanks for all the welcomes!
Blame My Sister - Any help I can give on Disneyland, don't hesitate to ask.
Do you mean Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? We haven't decided yet. I just don't know if it's worth an extra $170.![]()
We do plan on seeing Spectro, Wishes, Fantasmic, The Osborne Lights and the Candlelight Processional. I was excited to read about the nightly "Cinderella's Holiday Wish Stage Show" at 5:45 and "castle dream lights" that follow. I was concerned we would miss out on the castle lights if we didn't go to MVMCP, but these things take place before the party.![]()
What plans do you have?
Can you believe it's only a month away?![]()
Chef Mickeys,Cinderellas Gala Feast,Crystal Palace,Tony's Town Square,Coral Reef, and Hollywood and Vine, are the places we will eat at w/ ADR's. And I set up a BBB for my daughter the same day we are going to Cindy's Feast. And we are doing the Xmas parade thing on the 13th. Could I please get "pickled"? I just don't have enough bouncy, jumpy things in my signature. I'm pushing the envelope under the new signature rules, but I think I can get it inCan I add the "thread killer" too?
But now will look into it.I have a question about personal messages and signatures. I tried to reply to a personal message, but kept getting a message implying that my posts are too low to pm. Also, tried to add the 'thread killer' icon and wasn't able to cut and paste, copy and paste, or even import from a saved picture. Is all this due to the fact that I am new? Or that I am an imbecile?![]()

Maybe I can help:
Maybe I can help:
I don't know about the PM's but to add pictures like the thread killers you
(1)right click the picture and go to Properties,
(2)copy the picture's properties.
(3)Go to edit your signature paste the "copy" into place.
THEN
(4)type "" behind the property.![]()
THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO THAT![]()
To get a regular picuture into a post
You have to have it saved in a file somewhere. (I have a file on my computer call "dis pictures") or maybe files from your digital pictures.
NOW you have to have the picture "hosted" this means having them create "properties" for your picture. I like to use
http://www.imageshack.us/
To host your picture,
1)Go to the site
2)Find your picture under "Browse",this will take you to your computer files
3) choose your picture
4)choose the size you want
5)Uncheck remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail? (it's the second box).
You will be given lots of options of properties, just pick the one you want(play around with the sizes)
6) copy one of the "properties" the hosting sight has created,
7)paste
8)add theto the back of the property.![]()
HINT: I like to work on another tab, one open to the Disboard, and the other on the hosting site it makes it easier to go back and forth.
I hope this works for you, it takes a little practice but well worth the effort.![]()

This is a HUGE help! i've been wanting to ask, but i felt stupid to ask on other threads. that's what i love about this group, friendly and helpful! i'm going to test it out with one of my own pictures - i guess that's how the people who write trip reports do it, huh?
