Okay, I don't feel so bad now. I have on and off over the years registered with different boards, lurked a while, posted, and..... nothing. It got very discouraging and I thought it was me. I love to laugh, but do not have the funny gene - I can never come up with stuff like the cute, funny and witty stuff you people post. But I love to read it.

This time I jumped right in and registered yesterday and started posting. Some have been answered, some I may have killed, but it is early yet!

Found this group and am feeling better about myself already. You guys are a funny and encouraging group.

Okay, I have just booked my first cruise - Disney Wonder, and first trip to WDW! I feel like a virgin.

I have been to Disneyland 5 times though, so have an inkling of what to expect.

Hi. Although the threads I start usually get answered (I haven't started one in a long long time though), I'm usually pretty good about murdering others. I murdered one just yesterday. I replied to someone's topic at around 6 a.m. and within an hour or two it had pretty well disappeared onto page 3 or 4. Of course, while at the store, BF calls and asks that I pick up a toothbrush, breath mints, and tissues! Good thing I love the lazy boy...or else I'd yell at him for waiting until the last minute!

Ok, so I go away for a few hours and there are THREE more pages of posts?! I really don't think I can go on DIS sabbatical for the next week....I'm already feeling symptoms of withdrawal! Just the goodwill and wonderful people that this thread has managed to attract really makes my day. I hope you all feel the same. I feel like I'm leaving my family behind!

Oh no MagiKitty, I just realized something. I'll be "going on sabbatical" about the time you get back. We're going to Florida (not DW ) for Thanksgiving & we're leaving next weekend! What am I going to do for a whole week without you guys? I think my dad has his laptop down there - maybe he'll let me borrow it one afternoon so I can try to catch up. But, at the rate we're moving........who knows where we'll be by the time I get back. (Page 30? 40?)

I came to check in on the killas. Seems like everyone's been busy today, but now everyone is gone. Oh well, I hope everyone had a good day. We spent the afternoon in the doctor's office. DS has a raging ear infection. He's the sweetest baby boy and I feel so bad for him. Hopefully, he'll be better in a day or two. Say a little prayer for little Rhett please.

We usually put our Christmas tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. I love my prelit trees, much easier, although I do miss having a live one.

I'm so glad to see all you new posters on here (and most of you old ones too ).

My son would get ear infections almost monthly! And he had the tubes put in and they didn't even last a year. The doc's said that he also has hearing loss in 1 ear and when he turns 3 we are going to get his ear graphed to fill a hole in his eardrum. Not looking forward to that. We learned that no matter how silly we felt taking him to the doc's, 9 times out of 10 it may be nothing but that 1 time it 's something, and usually bad.

We have done Garden Grocer sometimes and had stuff delivered to our room instead of packing. Nothing big just basics. But it makes a difference cause we bring 2 strollers w/ us and that right there takes up space. Plus it's one less hassle to worry about.
