Hey guys--it started snowing this evening! Its so beautiful, but I'm more than ready to wave buh-bye to it tomorrow!

There's so much to be excited about...silly enough, I have a direct flight to MCO and that's awesome! Second, we've done the Thrifty Wild Car so we have no idea what car we'll be driving around! The car is key...with the parks closing early (6pm at US/IOA), I plan to spend my evenings holiday outlet shopping!

We've exchanged some time at our time share to stay at Liki Tiki Village. Its supposedly located somewhere near WDW. We're not high maintenance people, as long as its clean and has running water, we're happy!

We have plans to see Blue Man Group, the Wishes cruise, the GF photo session, and MVMCP. There's never enough time! And both of us haven't been to Sea World in years and years. We've noticed that we enjoy the shows just as much as the rides (I never did shows as a kid), so SW should be a great experience.

I'd love to hear more from those of you who have been on a cruise. I've never been, but have been hoping to one day do it.

My BF is jealous of this board! He's always like, "are you typing AGAIN?!". The answer is yes. I have to buy him ice cream in order to smooth things over. Again, thank everyone so so much for all the good wishes. I'm so very touched by everyone I've met. :grouphug:

Looks like we'll be there at the same time! Are you doing the X-mas parade?

Do you mean Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? We haven't decided yet. I just don't know if it's worth an extra $170.:confused3

We do plan on seeing Spectro, Wishes, Fantasmic, The Osborne Lights and the Candlelight Processional. I was excited to read about the nightly "Cinderella's Holiday Wish Stage Show" at 5:45 and "castle dream lights" that follow. I was concerned we would miss out on the castle lights if we didn't go to MVMCP, but these things take place before the party.

What plans do you have?

Can you believe it's only a month away?:woohoo:

Could I please get "pickled"? I just don't have enough bouncy, jumpy things in my signature. I'm pushing the envelope under the new signature rules, but I think I can get it in:cool1:Can I add the "thread killer" too?

I have a question about personal messages and signatures. I tried to reply to a personal message, but kept getting a message implying that my posts are too low to pm. Also, tried to add the 'thread killer' icon and wasn't able to cut and paste, copy and paste, or even import from a saved picture. Is all this due to the fact that I am new? Or that I am an imbecile?

Hee, Hee. :) I honestly admit I am very computer illiterate. Now this could really be a thread killer!

It is due to your number of posts.:thumbsup2 I believe your are about ready to be able to PM others and receive PMs. I believe it is around seven. As far as the copying the picture I am not sure, but I can tell you how to post a photo that you have taken if that is what you want to accomplish.:thumbsup2

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Blame My Sister - Any help I can give on Disneyland, don't hesitate to ask.
:thumbsup2

:surfweb: Maybe I can help:

I don't know about the PM's but to add pictures like the thread killers you
(1)right click the picture and go to Properties,
(2)copy the picture's properties.
(3)Go to edit your signature paste the "copy" into place.
THEN
(4)type "
B]"in front of the property (usually before the http)and "[B]
" behind the property.
THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO THAT:goodvibes

To get a regular picuture into a post
You have to have it saved in a file somewhere. (I have a file on my computer call "dis pictures") or maybe files from your digital pictures.
NOW you have to have the picture "hosted" this means having them create "properties" for your picture. I like to use
http://www.imageshack.us/
To host your picture,
1)Go to the site
2)Find your picture under "Browse",this will take you to your computer files
3) choose your picture
4)choose the size you want
5)Uncheck remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail? (it's the second box).
You will be given lots of options of properties, just pick the one you want(play around with the sizes)
6) copy one of the "properties" the hosting sight has created,
7)paste
8)add the
B] to the front and[B]
to the back of the property.

HINT: I like to work on another tab, one open to the Disboard, and the other on the hosting site it makes it easier to go back and forth.

I hope this works for you, it takes a little practice but well worth the effort. :thumbsup2

This is the one to talk to people!!!!!!!!!1

Bopsmom -thank you sooo much. I have saved your post to a word file for future reference. :)

I second the "WOW!" factor. I have learned so much these past few days.

I'm gonna have to get a great picture this week to post when I get back!

We need to have a Thread Killers greatest hits post just for all the helpful information!

Testing my instructions with DH (he picked the picture) to see if they work.

I used the default size and after hosting I picked the hotlink for forums#1"

I did notice that Image Shack already has the in their properties so you won't have to add them. One less step.
I hope I havent' confused more than I have helped.:goodvibes

Okay MagiKitty, is it tomorrow you leave? I got so consumed with trying to add the signature stuff, I can't recall when you leave.

:thanks: This is a HUGE help! i've been wanting to ask, but i felt stupid to ask on other threads. that's what i love about this group, friendly and helpful! i'm going to test it out with one of my own pictures - i guess that's how the people who write trip reports do it, huh?

Yup yup, I will be landing tomorrow at 5:50pm in (hopefully) sunny Orlando! Of course, I'll have to dig out the car first. We've been planning since June, I can't believe its finally here!

I just read on the US/IOA thread that they're holiday decorating at the parks RIGHT NOW! I had read initially that the parks aren't decorated until the second week of December, so this has just made my day! I get to check out the decorations all over the place! We're going to try to tour the WDW resorts this year to see all their holiday looks...this is beyond what I had hoped for!

I may be pushing it here...but I think the good karma is coming back to me. Thank you so much!

I'm having separation anxiety from the computer...I'm never on this late. I won't be able to check my computer in the morning, so I'm trying to squeeze every single second I can out of tonight!
