So I notice in these boards are folks who are practically neighbors (maybe even real neighbors) So how about getting to know fellow dis'er in your area?

We are in Happy Valley, just outside Portland. Me and dd (almost 7)...Anyone else in our area????????:rotfl: :rotfl:

Ex-NYer loving Portland!!!

I'm a parenthetical Washingtonian. :) Across the street (literally, the street is the "border") from Tacoma.

Ah, Forest Grove...how I do adore our stays at Grand Lodge...twas our wedding night hotel, we love it so much, after we married at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in Hillsboro. Had our almost 3 month old along on our 1st anniversary trip to Portland (to pick up wedding album)...:rolleyes1

Ah, Eugene...we have old friends there, old hippie friends. OK they were my mom's friends from SF, then they moved there (I hear you now, "no, people from San Francisco moved up to Eugene? that never happens!" :rotfl: ) for a much better lifestyle, and now I'm mega-jealous b/c DH gets scared and has hesitated to move down there... Went to the BEST backyard wedding there two Decembers ago...sigh.

Ah Portland, love it too!

And Boring, well, I don't know anything about Boring. I'm sure I'd love it, too.

I am up here in Marysville (about 35 miles north of Seattle)

Did you all know that further North at the Burlington Outlet Mall they are selling is the traveling Disney Outlet store.Tey will be their until May 15th. I have been up there twice I cannot believe what they have there all brand new DL park items. I bought an awesome DL windbreaker jacket that sells at the parks for $68.00 it was only $24.00, sweatshirts for $14.00. Check it out if you can.:thumbsup2

As you can see from my signature..I'm in Auburn, between Seattle and Tacoma.

I was born in Longview, WA, but I used to live in Vancouver. (DH and I got married there nearly 35 years ago) DH was born here in Auburn.

When I was a teen, I lived in Eugene...and yes, I knew quite a few real hippies...one of my boyfriend's parents were professors at the college and I remember him taking me to a campus party where they had all the phsycadelic stuff going around on the walls as the music played.

I never really got into that kind of lifestyle though. I was more into the whole Herman's Hermits and Paul Revere & the Raiders kind of music scene...not the "one pill makes you smaller, and one pill makes you tall" stuff. :rotfl:

I grew up in a household where we all gathered around the tv on Sunday nights to watch Ed Sullivan, Bonanza and of course, The Wonderful World of Disney. Going to the drive-in with my folks to see Disney movies like the Parent Trap, Absent Minded Professor, and Swiss Family Robinson are some of my favorite childhood memories. popcorn::

Born and raised in WA state.

Currently live in Federal Way. So, I'm bouncy54's neighbor ( I work in Auburn). And maybe Bumbershoots neighbor depending on which street divides her from Tacoma. LOL

Our family is from Eastern Washington (the Yakima Valley - wine country). We are currently planning our seventh annual trip to Disneyland. :woohoo: We drive to Southern California every year after our daughters (and I) get done with the school year. :teacher: If you have any questions about driving from our area to DLand, just holler!:wave2:

Born and live in Longview WA with DH and DS (5). Second family trip to DL this year in 2 weeks. We are going with my dad and his wife. Should be fun.

I was not born but raised in Wenatchee which is in Eastern Washinton. I've lived in the Seattle area for the past 15 years. We reside in Issaquah right now and plan to be here a very long time.

Went to college in WA and decided to stay. We currently live Kirkland, WA (about 10 miles east of Seattle) and have been here for 5 years. Prior to that, we lived in Tukwila and First Hill area of downtown Seattle. Dh was born in UT but raised in Federal Way, WA. We love the Northwest and can't see living elsewhere. Wait. I take that back we can see ourselves living in disneyland.

My two brother in laws (or is it brothers in law) and their families live in Clackamas, just off of Sunnyside Rd. DH and I used to live out there, too. Now we're one block from Hillsboro, but the address says Portland.

I'm in Lynnwood [north of Seattle] and I'm leaving for DLR in a couple of weeks!!! :cool1:

When I say "I," I really mean to include my DH, DD, and DS! Can't forget them!
