Okay

Plans are more or less set. I had planned on doing the following mid-holiday:

Sat: BB for a few hours, mini golf, head to MGM early afternoon for Star Wars Weekend then back to AKL before dinner @ Contemporary
Sun: AK/Illuminations Cruise
Mon: MGM all day

Am now thinking about changing it as follows:

Sat: Go straight to MGM (get in early, see characters, maybe get some SW memorabilia and see parade - I think it takes place @ 12), stay until 2/3, then do mini golf, AKL and then Contemporary
Sun: AK/Illuminations Cruise
Mon: Hit BB first for a couple of hours, then go to MGM again

What do you think?? I am aware that on the Thurs/Fri I'll have done BG and a MK day of 8-12 at night so will be zapped on the Sat - I just think it would be worthwhile hitting the Star Wars weekend early. I'm mostly concerned about seeing Jedi Mickey!

Let me know what you think.

I'm really jealous that you're there for the Star Wars weekend - lots of pictures please! I'd really look at taking advantage of being there for SW - OD while you've got the chance!

From what I have read (Brit's Guide) it recommends going to BB/TL on a Monday or Tuesday; and to avoid these parks at a weekend because that is when the locals come out to play too. So seems like a wise choice to go to BB on a Monday.

When do you fly out?

Michelle

Fly out on 4 June (next Saturday!!!). I'm not doing Disney until the end of the first week as I've bought an AP and want to go back next year at the same time - I'll then use it for the whole of the first week!

Thanks for the feedback folks - I think I'll go with that.

Nick

Make sure you post a pic of Jedi Mickey - cant imagine what he must look like :rotfl:

Have a good time, we'll be there from June 8

You can see a pic of him on the internet just now - I'll not spoil it for you but if you want to know where I can post the link. He looks cool (as does Darth Tater - Mr Potato done up like Darth Vader - where else but at Disney?!) :rotfl:

Well if your in MK on the 11th we'll see you there :wave2:

Slight possibility......I'm heading to the California Grill in the evening to see Wishes (I suspect being so close to MK I'll probably want to pop in for a while beforehand!

Brilliant!! yet Mickey hasn't got a lightsaber, shame :goodvibes

Love the Tater guy, only at WDW

Not long to wait now!!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

New plan Nick! I've heard the queues for Star Wars Weekend memorabilia were as long as four hours!!!

Also, if you want to see the new Lights, Motors, Action stunt show, it's a good idea to get to the park early and get a FASTPASS straight away.

I take it this has been proving popular then? Have you seen it or does anyone know if language aside, it is any different than the French equivalent? I am back in Paris again in October and may wait until then to do it but again, it might be a nice sit down and relax for 30 mins attraction - will need to see how it plays out with this one.

Hey just checked out the links to Jedi Mickey and Dart Tater. Fantastic! Must try and schedule next trip around the star wars events. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hope you have a brilliant time!

re,lights, motors, action. It was very similar to the french version we saw several years ago except that they didnt have the audience participation with children, much to the disappointment of my son. Still a really good show though. Gill. ps. We found the reports of four hour queues over star wars weekend to be accurate i,m afraid.

was this just for SW stuff or all over the park? I'm not big on the SW stuff just think it might be cool to see - I'd much rather be over screaming on ToT! :earseek:
