I have been reading how it is best to go to DLR on AP blockout days so I was wondering if we should switch our schedule to do LA on Friday, April 23 and do DCA/DLR on Sat, April 24 which is a blockout day. We had originally planned to do LA on Sat but now I'm thinking maybe we should do it on Friday. What are your thoughts on which day would be better to do which one? Also, if we were to do LA on a weekday then when would we need to leave our hotel to get to the tour place if the tour leaves at 9:30 a.m.? Thank you for any help you can give me! :)

It depends. Late April will be more of a slow time in general and for AP holders - nothing new going on to draw them. So a Friday during a slow time in off-season is not a bad tiome to go. The other advantage of Friday is that it is not a Magic Morning like Saturday. Will you be using a Magic Morning? If so Saturday is better. If not, I would say in your case Friday is better. But the difference will not be that big. I would choose whichever day works best for you.

That is a hard one. I would have freeway maps in hand and the car radio set to one of the news stations that give freeway traffic updates every 6-10 minutes. I would find out which freeways have car pool lanes in the direction you want to go. And then I would leave by 7:30AM. Maybe 7AM.

Oh yeah, I forgot about MM. We will not be doing MM on Sat because we are doing it on Thursday. I think that's why we decided to do LA on Sat instead, I had forgotten about that.

Would we need to leave that early if we go on Saturday? How far from Anaheim is LA?
