Thoughts on one park?

Instead of having separate turnstiles at both parks, why not one turnstile off Harbor and a separate off DTD? It just seems so pointless to have "park hoppers" and have to go through ticket check every time you want to hop. Get rid of single park tickets and everything is a park hopper. Get rid of the ticket takers at the separate parks. I figure there must be a reason they dont? More money? Easier to keep track of number of people in the park?

With all the changes that have happened and that are coming to the parks why not now?

Thoughts?

This never crossed my mind but I find it fascinating!!! I'm curious why. When DCA was lame I could see them being able to offer deals and such to keep people in that side but the extra cost of park hopper shouldn't make all that much of a difference!!!

I am OK with the way it is right now.
I think the capacity issue is controlled better with two separate entrances.

It would be a real challenge to get to DTD from Harbor IF it were changed.
