Thoughts on my itinerary?

We're spending a few days at DVC before our cruise in November. Since it would be very pricey to get park tickets for the 4 of us just for 2 days, we decided to just go in the MK for the MVMCP the night before the cruise. Here is the itinerary I have planned so far:

Friday - Arrive @ MCO late. Check in @blt

Saturday - DTD for breakfast (Earl of Sandwich), Ghiradelli's before we leave. Go back to BLT & enjoy pool... ADR for just hubby & I for California Grill; kids going to Lilo's Playhouse @ the Polynesian. Then to the Top floor lounge for Wishes.

Sunday - Check out of BLT/check in @ WL. ADR @ Whispering Canyon for breakfast @ 9am. Enjoy the pool. ADR for Kona Cafe @ 2:30pm, monorail to MK for MVMCP.

Monday - Check out of WL. Get rental car, pick up in-laws @ Saratoga. ADR for Cape May Cafe @ 9:30am. Then drive to Port Canaveral for our 4 night cruise.

We'll disembark the cruise on the earlier side on Friday and get another rental car (cheaper than Disney transportation for the 6 of us). I figure we'll spend some time at DTD, ADR for Olivia's @ OKW for 12:30pm, and then visit the monorail resorts before leaving for MCO around 5pm.

That sounds like an awesome plan to me! You guys have fun!

You'll arrive at the port by about 1130-1200, which means they may have open boarding at that time, so that will help. If you can get a spot on parking level 3, you won't need the elevator to get to the check-in area.

Sounds good, I like your ADRs. My only comment is on your Kona Cafe ADR at 2:30pm. Do you know for sure if you can get an ADR at that time? Don't make the mistake we made, a few years ago before a party our plan was to have late lunch at a monorail resort (first choice Kona Cafe) before heading into the party at 4pm. We didn't have ADRs, and we discovered to our dismay that most sit-down resort restaurants shut down between lunch and dinner. We ended up grabbing some chicken fingers at the GF pool because nothing was open.

Thanks everyone! And yes I already have an ADR for Kona Cafe at 2:30pm!

Nice plan. Everyone should consider giving themselves some free time as you have done.
