Thoughts on my Dining window opening this morning

BOG - unable to book online - I tried for 30 minutes - then did it on phone ap & it took right away.
Must be some glitch with the online version

Garden Grill - who would have thought this reservation would be SO hard to get & it was day 9 of my stay. I ended up grabbing a booking for 5 but I really needed 6. Any idea if this is some sort of limitation at the restaurant as I understand it rotates & tables are pretty standard size?

It pays to have a plan & to listen to the advice on here about prioritizing those harder to get reservations first.

Happy to have this milestone somewhat out of the way...

There's no limitation at Garden Grill. For larger parties, they simply turn the tables vertically and butt them up against each other to accommodate everyone.

Lots of people are having trouble getting some Epcot reservations. Disney has not released Candlelight Processional packages yet. Thought is lots of spots being held back for those & availability should open up after that. So that might explain your problems with Garden Grill.

I booked BOG (lunch and dinner) this morning on the website and had no issues.

I had trouble getting BOG on my 180 day mark ( this was for a late august dinner ressie)

OP, make sure to either (eventually) get a reservation for 6 at GG or get a reservation for 1 at the same time as the reservation you currently hold. Otherwise, you could very well be told that they'll only seat 5 of you.
