I know this show is available in Las Vegas and various cities in North America. For those who's seen it, so it would be great to hear what your feedback on the show.

merci

I have seen BMG several times in both Chicago and Boston....

Great show! Make sure you take some tylnol first, because it is not the place for a headache...

There is also READING involoved so if you need your glasses bring them. :-)

Two big thumbs up from me!

I saw the show in Boston a few years ago. It was on a smaller scale than I expected, but I enjoyed the "weirdness" of it all. My wife's review was not as favorable. I did find it a bit scary when the theater was covered with tissue paper. It looked like a fire disaster ready to happen.

I recommend it.

Great Show! Everyone should see it at least once

I took DH to see it in Boston a few years ago for his birthday and we both loved it. It's a very entertaining show, and the blue men are actually very talented. One word of advice - do not arrive late! It's also best if you can get seats on the floor in front center - we were in the first row of the balcony and it was great for watching the show, but a little disappointing at the end of the show (don't want to give too much away!). Of course, that's all assuming that the show hasn't changed much in the last few years.

DH really wants to go back again. He was selected before the show began to go onstage and participate in one of the skits and so he was so nervous the whole time he couldn't fully appreciate the show until after his part was over. He liked it so much he wants to go back without that pressure.

I really don't get them and would never go to their show. Sorry

:duck:

They are going to be in St. Louis in October and DH and I considered making a weekend of it and leaving the kids with my in-laws. However, if would cost us $$$ and right now we really should be saving more money for our December cruise.

Awesome. Saw them in Vegas at the Luxor. Great time.

Saw them at Luxor also, was kind of apprehensive about it, but the show was outstanding. I really liked the live band and music they played!

I didn't want to go to Blue Men...but a group of friends I was going with did. It was a blast. I loved it so much I took my kids to Vegas to go see it. Who would have thought that I could enjoy watching men painted blue for a whole night and paying good money to see them...lol. Music was great as well.

Hubby and I saw it way back when in Chicago and we loved it. We've been talking about going back ever since.

Also, I recently found out that my pastor back home in Chicago knows one of the founding member of Blue Man Group. I guess back in college the guy told all his friends that he had this idea to dress up in black, paint their faces blue, and put on a show. Of course my pastor just thought that he was crazy and had fallen of his rocker. :rotfl: Of course look at them now...

I thought it was really cool. I'm not sure I'd go see it over and over but it was very entertaining. :)

I saw the show in NY. It was very fun. Entertaining. Very loud and energetic.

I'm not sure about kids though. Some of it they will find amusing I'm sure, but I think a good portion of it would go over their heads, depending on the age of the child.

I saw them in Vegas and it was well woth the $$. It's an interactive show, they make fun of people in the audience and wrap them in toilet paper while climbing thru the on the seats. Great Show but wear earplugs, it's LOUD!! :thumbsup2

We took our son for his 13th bday and we all loved it. :thumbsup2 We went to the Chicago one and afterwards ended up buying a DVD and a CD because the music was so cool. We didn't take our daughters at the time because it was a bday present for our son, but I'm sure they would have loved it and they are 10 and 4. Both of them watch the DVD and sing and dance to the music.

We were in the 4th row I think and got to wear ponchos and we definitely needed them (due to the Twinkie incident)!

We'd definitely do it again. Go with an open mind and a desire to have fun!

Just another note about BMG...

There is NO talking/singing during the show... but LOTS and LOTS of music, LOTS of Visuals...And a lots of READING (who else tries to read everything at once???? ROFLMBO Here's a tip.... bring your glasses and something to clean your glasses with if your in the first 8 rows or so )

It is performance art at it's best.

Poncho seats ARE highly reccomended for the truely young at heart, but some things do stain so be aware!!! (also BMG provides the ponchos... at least in Chicago they do) :lmao:

Saw the travelling version here in Calgary, LOVED it! I can't wait to see it in Vegas too!

I got an e-mail notification for pre-sale tickets for the show in Pittsburgh at the end of September. I've been trying all day to buy decent seats, but all they keep showing me are seats in the highest section.

They have the lower priced tickets listed for the better sections, but they must not have released them for the pre-sale. :( I'll keep trying....
