My family is planning our next trip for Oct/Nov 2012. There are lots of factors that make this the ideal time for our next visit, however I'm getting concerned about discounts.
With the exception of our first trip, we have always traveled with a discount and would not stay on property without one. The early release of some 2011 discounts has me wondering if 2012 is when Disney expects things to turn around with the opening of the Fantasyland expansion and the new Animation Value resort.
I know we need a crystal ball for these answers, but what are your thoughts on 2012? Do you think significantly more people will schedule a 2012 visit for the new attractions? Do the current discounts indicate that Disney is worried people will put off a visit until these new attractions open?
And yes, I'm aware that I'm neurotically planning for a vacation that is 2 years away. And dreaming of it everyday!
