Thoughts about New Year's Party...

Things I would like to see...

* Make a ball drop in main lobbies

* Allow more than 15 to gather into a room so we can celebrate with many of our friends rather than just a few

* Have an audible countdown all over VMK: "ten nine eight seven six five four three two one Happy New Year!"

Any other ideas?

Maybe we could have a countdown for each time zone.

Well, being on the West Coast, I feel I am in the unique position that I am without a doubt right. Whatever you say is wrong, unless, of course, you are rephrasing my own ideas.

The Countdown/Ball Drop should happen according to EST. There is no Ball Drop in San Fran. It is only in New York, so the EST ruling stands.

I wish they would have kept the party open 1 more hour.

If you are on the West Coast and went to a NYE party last night, you could not participate in VMK's party unless you rushed out of the "real life" at the stroke of midnight to get home.

If it was just a "hang on vmk" - then it was just a matter of picking which friends to see. However, it sounds like there were lots and lots of prizes given out last night.

So, that's my 2 cents.

The "party" kinda of sucked.

There was nothing special to do,
I didn't get any prize from the staff,
