Those who have stayed at BWV or BCV....breakfast ????

Wow, thanks! I wasn't aware of that one. I was just thinking last night of eating breakfast my last morning at Spoodles and paying OOP because the menu offerings were so inexpensive. This makes it even better.

It was lucky for us, that our server noticed the DVC member on the room key/credit card. We didn't realize it when we ate there.

Are you saying that you always ask? Good for you! From what I know, there's not an AP discount for Spoodles.

We have eaten at both Cape May and Spoodles for breakfast. I felt that Cape May was lacking in selection and a bit overpriced. I liked Spoodles better.

In my opinion, Fresh at the Dolphin was a better value than Cape May. They are both buffets, but Fresh usually has specials (like banana pancakes made- to-order) in addition to made-to-order omlets, french toast, etc. It is also about $5 per person cheaper than Cape May (if memory serves).

In fact, of the three restaurants mentioned, I like Fresh best.

Enjoy your trip!

One other thing about Fresh; I think that there is a 20% member discount, though I admit I could be mistaken.

I love Cape May for breakfast, and I don't even eat breakfast most days. I've never actually had Spoodles for breakfast, though, after reading this, I may have to on my next trip.

I found staying at the board walk last year, counter service places were a big big problem. at the pool had to walk over to b/c to get lunch and had to carry them back to the pool area at bw. did not like that there was no counter service for breakfast either, that is a major drawback to us. came back to our room one day and ran out to get lunch for a counter service and nothing was open during the day except to get a slice of pizza for lunch. I honesty did not think about going over to swan and dolphin. does any one know if they have a counter service and not sit down.
Tubbi's (now Picabu) is essentially counter service. You can also get food to go at the Fountain (malt shop restaurant in the Dolphin, similar to Beaches 'n Cream but never as crowded, LOL).

Another :thumbsup2 for FRESH! We've eaten at most, if not all, the TS restaurants in the Epcot area, and have found that Fresh is the one we prefer. :goodvibes The selection and quality of the food is wonderful, and the service is great, too. :cheer2:
And the 20% DVC doesn't hurt either!
