Aaaccck! Every time SB does something that makes me like them a little more they do something else that ticks me off again. I was pleasantly surprised the other day when they actually credited me for the survey I put a ticket in for, and then again, actually got credit for using the print coupons. And then they ruined it today when I went to redeem a couple SB for a small gift card and they won't let me verify my account with my security question like always!! Since I requested the PIN last week to be able to do the shop offers (they didn't accept my phone number) the only verification method offered is that PIN! Now I'm held hostage until I get that post card. argh.

I had just kind of stopped using Swagbucks for a few months because of frustrating things like that. I've been back at it for a little while though. We have a trip coming up at the end of August. Our flight is at 7:30 am and to save money DH said we would just get a ride over to the airport at 4 am from my father in law. However, I really like being able to stay at the airport hotel and have the free breakfast in the morning and being across from the airport. It just makes things go smoothly on travel day. So I decided I'd use Swagbucks and rewards programs for the airport hotel. I only have about 6 weeks to earn the $122. It's not like we couldn't afford it but this trip is expensive enough and I understand DH wanting to stick to the budget. It's a fun challenge for myself. I'm about a third of the way to my goal.

On that note.. I got 100SB with a search this morning. I've never gotten anything anywhere near that high!

I've started using a new laptop and it always says there are no ncraves and to check back later, but when I log in on my phone, I have a ton of ncraves. Am I possibly missing something that I need to run ncraves on my laptop, or is it normal to sometimes see them on a phone but not a computer?

I was curious so I tried to pull up ncraves on my phone. It was actually watch lists not ncraves. But they would give me the same not here error as my laptop when i had it connected to WiFi. When I took it off WiFi and used data the watch list worked.

I think there might be something to the whole it's connected to the ip thing I read about on their fb page. It would also explain why some still had them at work. Doesn't explain why some in the same house have them or don't though.

I'm almost at my 1st.goal without them. There's a couple of daily breaks on revenue u. Dr pepper and Oreo for 15 each.

Could someone be kind and explain to me how the prepaid Visa cards work? Do you get a physical card or just a number? Where/how can you use it? At actual stores or just online? Can you deposit money in a bank account or use it to pay off another credit card? Any intel would be appreciated! Thank you!

I saw on SB's FB page that they will no longer be offering Visa as a reward option, only Mastercard.

To answer your question, you get the card #, exp date, and 3 digit code to use only ONLINE. I have used the virtual Visa for Disney GCs and other GCs. The Mastercard you actually have an account and it gives your the #, exp date, and 3 digit code, as well as showing you the balance. I believe you can request a physical card, but they'll deduct $5.

I finally got a couple surveys today. It's been almost nothing since the 1st of the month, and I can't run nCraves, whether or not they're available! Hoping to scrape together the next thousand I need to get a $25 gift card before I leave for my Disney trip.

I'm wondering if you could add these to digital pay forms (samsung, apply, google). You wouldn't need the physical card. I don't get them, but it might be a route for someone to look at.

I don't use ad blocking software on anything related to Swagbucks so this is annoying. I asked them if there was a way to contact this third party directly and try and resolve it. I have vidoes shown but when I click them it says "opps that one got away". I can still do LTG though which I guess is something. I'll see if my husband can change our IP address because I've cleared everything I can and it hasn't helped!

From my research, you cannot change the IP on a modem through the cable company. You would have to call the cable company to try and convince them to force an IP change for you.

You used to be able to which is what I was going off of. A couple of guys in IT at my work suggested using a vpn. A lot of people will use it to get in market sports games like on mlb tv when they cut the cord.

We recommend you check your browser and anti-virus/firewall settings to make sure no ad blocking is in place or perhaps try a different device or IP in case of being associated with a flagged IP address. When videos are available, please make sure you are watching and engaging with the content as multi-tasking with multiple tabs, etc. can cause the verification services to flag your account.

Though I still don't agree this is fully the reason because I highly doubt more than 10% of the people that swag actually watch anything they do. They may have it open in a browser by itself so it's up and active but most are doing something else. And when left unattended it is active. And if you want things to be engaged with, not make ayce.

At least before when they changed the ncraves to keeping the mouse over the tab you could do them with a bit on inconvenience.

This has been such a weird week. I have been busy at work so I have not been able to post here, and our home computer hard drive got fried over the weekend.
On the positive side, I have figure out how to manage my laptop without the cursor moving all over the place,
I have had good luck getting most of the codes thanks to texts from SBCodez.com
and I had several surveys credit!!!!! It looks like they have a new company that sends them surveys, and they are all pretty easy to do. I am not sure if they are all gold surveys or if some of them are Peanut Labs, but they are all 50 SB and they all say they are 10 minutes. If your click on one like that, and the url says something like insightexpress, you hit one. All of them have credited for me so far, thank goodness

I'm not sure I buy Swagbuck's weak explanation that IPs are "possibly" being intentionally blocked from these activities by the third party service for engaging in incorrect actions (ad blocking, etc. etc.). In my humble opinion, this is all too random, too frequent, and affecting too many people to be a deliberate blockage. Some people are without these services for a few hours, some for a few days, some for weeks or longer. Some get things back, and then they are gone again. Some people have success clearing their history, others don't. Sometimes just going incognito will solve it, other times not. Sometimes changing browsers will help, other times not.

It's almost like Swagbucks can only have so many nCrave/video users at a time, and so people have to randomly take turns being blocked. If so, I'm glad my turn is over for now. LOL

Anyway, I'm still grateful for the chance to earn free money via Swagbucks, so will hang in there even during the frustrating times.

I downloaded a free VPN and when I got it hooked up with a different IP address and logged in incognito I had my ncraves back but not on regular chrome. I don't want to run anything long enough to get points until I know if the VPN keeps the number until I shut it off or if it will keep changing since that would for sure catch something. But that does at least show me it's connected to the IP address.

Swagbucks knows if you are using a VPN on its site (all sites know if you are, some care some don't). It is against ToS to use one. They will ban you for using one, they don't care for what reason.

So I figured that in this month, we'd probably lose our streaks for the daily goals with DD26's wedding this past Sunday. Obviously not that important, but, still was hopeful I could work it out, see what happens, maybe buy a gc or w.e. or do something in discover to keep them going. We were away from home so only had iphone and ipad. But, I did keep both my and DD26's account going with hers running the yellow TV ncrave and mine running AYCE. Unbelievably, my account kept Ayce running Saturday afternoon, thru the wedding Sunday, thru to late morning on Monday! Wow, couldn't believe it when I'd check, that it was still going! It ran slowly but, got plenty to reach my daily goal. Same for DD26, hers had a little less but still got just enough to meet the daily goal! I thought, great all set, going home Monday and then I can do my usually swagging! Got home late Monday afternoon, got online and, hers on firefox and mine on chrome, both went to the 'There are no activities available,' page. Plus, just to make sure I saw it loud and clear, it has changed from that lighter aqua color to a bold black font, like they are shouting at me! Didn't like that, lol. So now it's no ncraves and no watch nor sponsored videos, but LTG once in a while. Can't get apps to run well so not much there. So, we lost her daily goal Monday, darn it. I figured it'd probably only be a day or so, so a CVS gc got me thru another day, but tue neither came close.

I'm not sure about the IP address thing. I sometimes get them to work in chrome for me but no firefox for DD26. Other times both are out. Sometimes they are out at home but going great at work. Sometimes they work in incognito when they won't elsewhere. They've been out both home and work since back to work on Tues. Ugh!

So, Tuesday evening I figured I'd try some surveys again, it'd been awhile. Well, surprised to find I've been banned from gold surveys! I think it's been only few days so far. Says my personal info isn't consistent or something so surveys aren't for me! Ugh. Somewhat worried about this but hopefully that's all and nothing more will come of it. I haven't done one of those in maybe a month and now they are off limits, right as I was gonna try to do more. I don't think contacting them will help. I do remember someone saying this had happened to them.

So, all I have is Peanut labs and was able to get one to count Wednesday for 50, along with daily breaks and some LTG, got Wednesday's daily goal. Only about 25 for DD26. Ugh, this is hard being to so stifled! But, now I was trying Peanut labs and can't get any. They take me all the way and then say oh we've reached quota or it's not you it's the surveys! ugh! Finally got the last one available to credit for 42. I sure hope my ncraves come back today!
