Those using swagbucks ???

I had a heck of a time getting the "Activate Swagbutton" one to work. I saw other people had the same issue on Reddit and the FB page. Here's what I had to do on Chrome.

Delete browsing data
Close browser
Reboot computer

All that got me was pages I stay logged into logging me out. Tried it on firefox and explorer too. It's not just me from looking on their facebook and the above doesn't seem to be working for a lot of people. Hopefully they'll fix it. I'll buy a giftcard for shopping I'm already planning at Penney's if they get it sorted out.

And a question about today's Shop Swaggo Board - anyone ever buy a gift card for the points via MyGiftcard?

Yes, I have! There are gift cards for several restaurants we like and would frequent anyway. So far, we haven't had any problems.

Switched my Sam's Club membership for Costco this year - tried to find Disney gift cards at my Costco Saturday and they tell me only Florida Costco's sell them

Don't know where you are, but that's not true. My Costco has Disney giftcards and I'm in Michigan.

If I'm reading this correctly, you have from today (to purchase) til Oct. 5th for it to credit, which would be 38 days. For most stores if they haven't credited in 32 days submit a ticket and SB's takes care of it within a few hours.

For those of you who are still having trouble with the "Activate SwagButton" tasks, I found this on the Swag blog (http://blog.swagbucks.com/2016/08/swago-shopaholic.html):
"Figured it out! You only have to go into your Internet settings in your browser and go to the extensions tab. Disable and re-enable the swagbutton."

I found that I also had to refresh each of the pages for the different stores' tabs, but I think that if you started fresh after re-enabling the swagbutton extension, that should work too.

Any way, I have 24 boxes filled in, and now I have to decide whether to buy a gift card or make a purchase. Either way, I'm out $25.

Surveys drive me batty. They ask for too much personal info, take more time than they say, and are too unreliable when it comes to points. That's been my experience anyway,. Good luck with your ticket!

I always feel like they ask for too much personal info too. That's why I assume a fake persona on surveys. I am 1 year younger, I live in the next town over, I work in a related field bu no the same as my actual field, and when they ask for my address I used my sisters old address, and my name is a variation on my actual name. To give away that much info if it were real is asking for trouble.

I added the button new to Firefox and explorer yesterday which I would think would be the same thing since I just enabled it and nothing colored in yesterday. I'll try it tonight in chrome though.

Sorry for the multi-questions - I want all the 'free' Disney money I can get!

I think the discounted Disney cards are only at Sams, and you have to be a member there. WalMart's website doesn't have ANY Disney gift cards, fyi, so you could try going to your local Wal-Mart and finding out what the story is there.

Keep in mind, you can visit Sams with a member, and either buy the cards with their membership, or I think you could get a day pass (but I'm not sure if that will cost more than the discount on the cards.)

Yes they are deposited to your Paypal account. It is up to you to transfer to your bank.

I actually just redeemed for my first paypal deposit recently. It was deposited into my paypal account today and I immediately logged in and transferred to my link bank account. It was super easy.

It worked! I disabled ebates and mypoints as well, just to make sure and then enabled just the swagbutton on it's own and did them all and they are all colored in. Thank you!

I ordered a gc for Penney's since I have stuff I want to buy there anyway, I was going to wait until October, but now is fine too. Just some last minute stuff for my Nov WDW trip so it can sit in drawer just as easy as at the store.

ETA I already got my gc, points for it and submitted my board for 200. 2nd goal met! I didn't expect anything until tomorrow since the groupon cards always take forever, I guess Penney's is faster or I ordered at the right time.
