Shopkick works by giving you "kick" or points for walking into stores and, in some stores, scanning items with your camera on your phone. You can then use your kicks to get Target GCs that you can then use to purchase Disney GCs with. You can also earn kicks for looking at the "look books" they have when you scroll through the app each day. My daughter likes to help scan and it makes it more tolerable, sometimes, for her to shop at Target because she can do a scavenger hunt. Keep checking the app because they have bonuses especially on weekends.

You can scan items at CVS, Walgreens, or Walmart. If you earn a Target GC, you can use it online to buy Disney GC from Target.com and you get free shipping I believe on GCs.

I have been having problems in Macy's getting it to recognize I am there and I am super bummed because this weekend was 150 walk-in then yesterday was 100 walk-in. I brought my phone and my husbands. I went to the middle of the store, different floors, outside then back in, turned location services off and on. So frustrating! I walked in American Eagle right next door and it registered instantly. Not sure what is going, anyone else have problems with Macy's? It wasn't just one store, it was 2 of them in my area. I have a 3rd near my work so I may try that.

I am almost to a $25 Target GC! My DH Is almost to a $5 Target GC! This is so fun and free and even my daughter is getting into it. Which is nice because I would like to give her one of the GCs to use for her souvenirs when we go in July.

I have never been able to get kicks in Macys or Best Buy.

I also use apps with mPoints and can use them for Amazon gift cards (there are other choices). Those apps are The Weather Channel, PunchCard, Dictionary.com, etc. Once you are in there, it shows other apps that use mPoints. TMZ apparently does but only on iPhone not Android I sure love my gossip

I also do searches with Bing.com to earn Amazon Gift Cards.

It isn't an app, but I use swagbucks on my computer. I usually use SWRR shopping to get rewards (we have gotten A LOT of rewards through there). One big place we purchase from is Amazon and that is not on SWRR shopping, but it is on swagbucks. So now, for every $1 I spend at Amazon, I get 3 swagbucks. When you reach 500 swagbucks you can get a $5 Target GC. So with Shopkick, Swagbucks, and my Target GC I get from purchases ($5 for buying 3 items), I hope to earn a big chuck of our spending cash for "free." Any other big ones?

This weekend I was visiting family and grabbed everyone's phones and downloaded Shopkick on them! I racked up 4000 kicks! So I have about $30 in Target GCs at the moment. I am worried I am bring throttled though because there are not nearly as many scans as when I started 2 weeks ago. Anyone else noticing that?

I have only gotten my kicks from macys 1x and it was after I left the store that they showed up. I've tried 3 dif macys and can't get kicks. I have walked around the whole store looking for speakers to stand under. I'm sure people thought I was loony!!! I always send a msg to shop kick every time I'm at macys. At best buy I find that I need to stand right inside the doors for a few min till I get my kicks.

I have 2 more days until I can check into Target or the mall stores again...I was restricted 14 days ago (apparently there is a limit for how many times you can check in during a 30 day period). I'm still happy that I have earned $43 in Target GC in my first month.

Wow! I've had it for about three weeks and I'm nowhere near $43! That's awesome.

I cashed out a $25 Target GC on shopkick yesterday and combined it with the $20 in Target GCs I had saved from purchases (buy 3 and get a $5 target GC) to buy a $50 Disney GC. It was very thrilling to get a $50 GC for just $4.80 (got my 5% Target Card discount on the remaining balance)!

I am a bit annoyed though because there are not many items to scan at the moment. I hope they bring that back up soon. I guess I have to do some walk-ins at the mall today when I pass it.

Anyone else seeing less things to scan? I am worried they are starting to restrict me since I got over 8,000 kicks in a few weeks. I almost to a $10 GC, but want to get the $25 again soon.
