are they dishwasher safe? It doesn't say anywhere on the cup. I take the lid apart and put that in the dishwasher, but I'm afraid I'll somehow ruin the cup by putting it in the dishwasher. And I'm afraid the paint will wash off eventually.

I wash mine in the dishwasher all the time and they come out fine. Eventually, after a lot of use, the design will start to come off though.

Ditto this. My dad has a couple of old Dixie Landings mugs that have absolutely no design left on them whatsoever. He uses them pretty much daily, though.

Yep, I agree with the above. We have tons of mugs and DH uses one every day. The oldest have faded. They were the big fat ones. The newer ones and the skinny ones are in much better shape and not very faded at all.

Yeah, we have about 4 different ones, we put ours in the dishwasher every time we use them. the design is still on the ones we got about 4 years ago!!! The ones we got last year still look good, but the ones we got 2 years ago are starting to fade...but the design itself isn't actually comming off. They are definately dishwasher safe!

I've always put mine on the TOP RACK though!!! (As I do with ALL plastic/rubber pieces in my dishwasher!

The DAKL mug went through the dishwasher a couple of times and developed a leak between the outer and inner wall. So, now we wash the FW , PC and PNOFQ mugs (the skinny ones ) by hand as we only use them at the Parks.

All of ours have scratched designs, but at least you can still see what the designs are. Many of the mugs get used every day and go into the dishwasher, so they are getting plenty of wear and tear.
