We have 150 points and it seemed like it was going to work fine for us.
We have 5 children 9, 8, 8, 4 and 2. our plan was to go to Disney every other November for 1 week in a 2 bedroom. Even though I love Disney, there are so many other wonderful places we want to take our children. We are going to Niagra Falls this summer.
My DH and I, along with my parents bought 150 points. Our guide knew there were 4 adults and 5 children, legal knew there were 4 adults and 5 children. They all said 'we don't do bed checks', or 'if you can stand having them all in two bedrooms when they are teenagers, it's fine with us'. Of course, this was all verbal, nothing in writing. Now from what I understand, they have changed their rules or decided to enfore a rule they told us they would not enforce (I'm afraid to call). Don't know what we are going to do. Never thought of Disney as being a 'buyer beware" kind of comany.
But for us 150 points being able to go every other year was going to be perfect!
