For 5 cruises, I did the usual. I washed out the bathing suits in the sink, rolled them in a towel to get as much moisture out as I could, and hung them up. No matter what, they never seemed to dry.
On cruise 6, I got smart. I tossed them in the washing machine, picked "bright colors" (which is cold water), and let them go.
The final spin of the washer made a huge difference. The suits were still damp, but they dried in no time when I hung them in the room.
