**Those Coming to Dis Meet On Sat 23 Sep**

It sounds like you all had a great time, I'm looking forward to seeing some piccies :)

Glad you had a great time, would love to see some photos! :wizard:

Oh Laura, you poor thing. :grouphug:

So sorry Laura, just not fair when things like that happen, we'll definately organise another one soon :grouphug:

Hi

Oh Laura I am sorry you were unable to make it and its horrible when things like that happen. I will definately arrange another meet next year. Hope you can come to the next one. I was a little worried, so as soon as I got in I checked on here to make sure you were ok.

Hi

Thanks for a lovely afternoon. I had a great time. Lovely talking about Disney. I cant believe I forgot my lime green ribbon and my camera :sad2:

I will get Bruce to upload the ones from my mobile.

Claire, How was the fair?

We missed our train by 1 minute so we were an hour late. Luckily my mil was fine with it. Bruce and I went on to the Garrick pub and Bruce was tipsy when we left. He was so funny.

Whoops about the train! The fair was great, but it blows me away how much money the rides are these days, £2 a go for a little track ride for the little ones, and with DD having a friend to stay I settled the girls bout 10pm last night, felt like a long day. Glad you made it back safe and sound, if a little tipsy though :teeth:

Hey guys, was fabulous to meet you all, I had a wonderful time! Will definately go to another one!! Thanks to Michelle for organising it!!

I finally staggered home to a very damp flat at about 11pm last night after a 6 hour coach journey. It wasn't as bad as I expected, just soggy, smelly carpets and a couple of t-shirts i'd left on the floor were soggy. No real mess though, just dampness. Thankfully the water had only got a foot or so inside my door and there really was no need for me to rush home, although you can guarantee that if I hadn't I would have been making insurance claims grrrr.

Anyway...yes..new year, new meet, new people wooooooooooop! :cool1:

Glad it wasn't too bad at your end, but so unfair you had to miss your fab birthday party :Pinkbounc Glad you had a good time with us,

Claire, Wow £2 a ride. It can easily turn out to be an expensive night at that rate. Glad they had a good time.

Kirsty, I am pleased the damage was not as bad. Unfortunate that you missed your party. Its so sad. It sounded great. I am pleased you had a safe trip home.

Heres to another meet. Say March!!! :thumbsup2

March would be good! My bdays on the 20th ;)

Glad everyone had a good time! Cant wait to see any pictures!!

march sounds fab!! maybe we could do something a bit different??? I'm not sure what, but something other than a meal, but just as social could be cool?

Thanks everyone for the great company and conversation, I really did have such a great time!! Would love to meet more wonderful DISers!

I am not sure either. I cant think of anything that is social without sitting and drinking. Any ideas for the next one would be great.

Sounds as though it was a lovely day ~ Looking forward to seeing the piccies.

It depends if we are doing a daytime thing or an evening thing really and where we plan on doing it! There are loads of themed places round london that do "medieval nights" and such.

Daytime wise i agree with Michelle - whats more social than sitting drinking? ;) but im sure we could think of some idea's!
