We got those Mickey fireworks glasses. They were great!
The ones I'm talking about make each point of light in the fireworks into a Mickey head.
This is how we got them:
Walking through Epcot, a castmember saw my DD's mouth was bleeding.
What had happened was my DW swung her hand around, not realizing DD was behind her, got her right in the mouth, and managed to knock out two teeth that were loose, and blood was gushing everywhere. We managed to find both teeth, which were on the floor, and took DD to the bathroom to clean up. But, five minutes later, she was still bleeding a bit, when the CM saw her.
We explained what happened, and the CM told DD that she deserved something special from Tinker Bell for losing two teeth, as Tink is friends with the tooth fairy. So, she made a call on her walkie-talkie, and said that we should head over to the Wall by Britain prior to Illuminations, and that Tink would have left our names there, and a suprise. As we said thank you to the CM, the CM said, "You're welcome, and after all, this is the year of a milion dreams."
So, we go to the Wall a few mintutes for Illuminations began. The person by the gate to the wall had our names, and as we came in, they handed us the glasses.
It was really amazing. My DD couldn't beleive it, and the view for Illuminations was great, and no crowds near us.
But, we're not bringing the glasses with us again. For us, that was a "once in a lifetime" event, and we want to remember it that way. Also, they're paper glasses, and we're afraid of them getting damaged.
