I'd have thought you were truely crazy, but we just visited LA and....OH MY GOD! What people wear!!!! My 12 y.o. DS just about popped an eyeball out!!!!

I was really starting to lose interest in these boards with all the bi****ng and and rudeness and self-righteousness (sp?!) but you have restored my faith! We DO have a sense of humour and we DON'T take things too seriously and we CAN laugh at ourselves and we ARE a community! O yes and there is great info sometimes as well!

That's the thing with satire...those who get it are already in agreement with you. those who don't get it get bent out of shape and remain as clueless as they have always been because the joke goes right over their heads. I'm not clueless, and I have a huge sense of humor. I've read these boards for a long time before I actually decided to post, so I know what's going on.

That particular post just hit me the wrong way because I would never ever be like that. We've scrimped and saved for this trip and I would never..... I'm not bent, just miffed that someone would categorize like that.

*I* thought it was funny, ONLY because I have seen others get bent out of shape..and I personally can't afford to stay there... THIS trip..but I'll work on it...
I CAN see how Ven, too, would find it not funny if he is the type who wouldn't 'look down' upon those 'borrowing' his resort....
Kinda a touchy subject, so although I'm still a 'newbie' I watch what to say and how to word things...sometimes it's not worth the hassle to be 'funny'
Anyways...ALL the resorts are great I've heard...Disney allows us to 'visit' the others so we can aspire to save to stay there...I think that's the reason they let us

This is Disney..everyone is happy everywhere...right??

visit All of the resorts1 It is the WDW resort. I look at it as one big place. It adds to the trip to make dinner reservations in different hotels to experience all that WDW has to offer.

You know, we went to dinner at the Garden Grill because there were supposed to be Chippen Dales......but wouldn't you know all they had were some stupid over-grown RODENTS! Talk about disappointing!
