Hiya got so excited today as thomson rang about tickets..but was quickly disappointed when she said 18th Aug..Only 1 week before travel...

I have always had my tickets at least 3-4 weeks before.. Is this a common thing now. What happens if they are wrong or misprint..!!

I'm booked with Thomsons too and called them on Tuesday as there's no sign of my tickets and we are due to fly on 14th August, 3 weeks from the date of the call.
My tickets hadn't even arrived at the shop yet so I'm not expecting anything for a few days yet.
Like you, I'm anxious that if there's a problem there'll be hardly anytime to rectify any errors but I can't do anything about it except continue to worry until they arrive and I can chek them over.
I'll post again as soon as mine arrive (actually, you'll probably be able to hear me whooping with excitement ) which should hopefully give you an idea of when to expect yours...

I've booked with Thomson and was told it could be 1-2 weeks before departure when I'll get the tickets.

My mam and dad booked with Thomson too and they fly one week today, they received their tickets on Wednesday just gone.

Flight inclusive packages always dispatch tickets much later than room/room & ticket packages. Even Disney UK only issued mine 10 days before departure when I did a flight inclusive with them a few years ago.

Nothing tops the first year when I booked with Thomas Cook. We were flying down to Manchester on Good Friday. Thursday afternoon at 4 pm (yes, the day before ) I got the call from Thomas Cook, who are luckily 5 minutes from our offices, to say the tickets were there. I don't think my feet touched the floor as I flew out that door, shouting behind me to my colleagues "Don't lock up, my keys are in my office!"
