Thomas Train Commercial?

Ok, i have never purchased any THOMAS the Train toys ever. My 2 Sons Never were into it. Now that my son is 8 he put on christmas list that he saw a commercial for a Thomas Train set that is battery powered? Not the ride on Train , but, a go bys itself train. Does anyone have any idea what he saw? It must be fairly new, there is a commerical for it. I would appreciate any help! Thanks

There is a new aquadoodle set with Thomas where he moves anywhere the child draws tracks, he's battery powered. There are also several sets for sale that are plastic and battery powered available at Target and Toys R Us. Myson is a HUGE Thomas fan.

Its not a mat, he said it was a train set. Im just so confused, he wants the new one that they advertise on TV. Ill have to ask him again for more details. Thanks for your help

oh I saw this! Its like a powerwheels type BUT it says up to 3 years. It has its own track and goes inside.

My boys are HUGE Thomas fans. Some of the wooden sets have a battery powered engine. These aren't that new though, they were there 3-4 years ago, at least. There are also some of the plastic sets that go on there own. I don't think the plastic sets are very nice though, my boys could break those quickly.

it is a motorized metallic thomas that makes a bit of cool steam. I got it for my thomas fanatics!

This is Thomas' 60th anniversary. There is a pretty neat 60th anniversary battery powered set out. It runs on a plastic track, but the pieces also interchange with the traditional wood track. ANd the Thomas train even blows steam! I've seen it on-line and also at Target.
