Thomas/Brio train question

Well, this am I might have gotten one of my best garage sale finds ever.

It was 2 big bags of wooden trains/track for $4.

Anyway, I know some of it is Thomas, some Brio and some no-name. I'm trying to separate it. I know what is Thomas, but is there any way to tell what is Brio track? I don't see any difference between that and the no name stuff, but there are lots of brio cars, so I would think some of it is.

The Thomas track will have an etched pattern in the rail section (the cut out groove) of the track while the Brio is flat - no pattern marked into the wood inself - just like the rest of the track surface.
Thomas trains will have the character name stamped on the bottom of the train itself. Don't know if Brio stamps theres or not, but you can check out the THomas website to confirm the names of the toons.

I really need to sell on ebay...I am just nervous about quoting wrong shipping prices. I HAVE SO MANY THOMAS TRAINS in my mom's attic. My daughter went through a Thomas phase when she was 2. We have so many trains. Do they do well on ebay even if they may have a ding or 2 in them?

try them on Craigslist first, as the high shipping seems to deter a lot of buyers.

As to selling them.. take pix and then box it up. Take it to the post office and have them weigh it. If you want to do a flat rate, then figure out what the cost of the fartheest zone will be. Otherwise you can just tell ebay how heavy it is and it will figure out the cost by where the person lives.

Be sure to check the old recall list to make sure you don't have any of the recalled Thomas parts.
