This year's Pop Warner cheerleaders....

The cheerleader were doing the cheer - "pump pump pump it up - Pump that Eagle/Tiger/Whatever spirit up" repeatedly - I had to change it - "Shut - shut - shut them up - Shut those noisy cheerleaders up"

We also encountered a group of cheerleaders at POFQ. I thought they were very well behaved and had no complaints about them. I would agree with a previous poster that the biggest problem was sharing a bus with Riverside. During slow times of the year sharing a bus is probably not a problem but it did become very crowded with the number of cheer groups going to Riverside.
We didn't encounter too many groups in the parks but I would agree that the spontaneous cheers were a bit annoying and loud! There was only one group (football players) we encountered that were running around and running into people. I didn't see a chaperone anywhere around them.
The biggest complaint I had was MGM closing early on Friday night!!

Well, for those of you who were not bothered by the Pop Warner Cheerleaders, Thank your lucky stars! the football players were not a problem, but the cheerleaders and their chaperones were a completely different story. I stayed a Pop Century, and boy was there a big problem. I found out on my last day there, that 35-40 of them were kicked out of the hotel. You know things must be really bad for Disney to evict someone.
Yes they traveled in packs, and continually were doing cheers. but it was their behavior on the rides, and during the shows that was most offensive. the high pitched screaming/shrieking on the dark rides, was out of control, to the point that both times I wason Haunted Mansion, the ride was stopped and the cheerleaders told to keep it down. ( i know this because i was unlucky enough to be in the car next to them). I rarely saw any chaperones.
At MVMCP on 12/9, they were again so rude.... at the castle show, they arrived after the show started and proceded (all 15 of them and their chaperones) to walk right up to the stage and stand in front of all the kids that were seated in the front. No more Pop Warner week for me, either!!

I think this thread has run it's course. Sorry if anyone had an unfortunate experience with the cheerleader/Pop Warner groups.
