This Time next week...... UPDATE.... WE LEAVE IN 2 DAYS!!!!!

That is too adorable! I wonder if water day would work with my kids? Hum...

If I were Corey...I'd watch out. Stella may be taking his job one day! Pretty creative!:cutie:

Have a wonderful time! My Disney trips are usually long weekends and I'm green with jealousy whenever I read about people spending a week or longer in the parks. What an opportunity!! Enjoy!!

P.S. Ride Small World for me!

Grace pulled me aside earlier and told me you told them at Disney they have "special days" - for example the day you planned for the Magic Kingdom was 'Water Day' - all anyone could have all day was water. She asked me if that were true and had a small tear in her eye...........

You are lying!!!!!!! Water day is Animal Kingdom day and she must refill her water bottle at the fountain.... Bottled water is $2.50 in the parks and I can't spare it!!!!!

Magic Kingdom day is Rice cake day!!! All the rice cakes you can eat (my pantry is full of the crap!!!!)

Cha Ching!!!!!

When is lobsta and champagne day?

WOO HOO!!!!!!!! 2 days till we are at POP!!!!!!!!! The excitement is building in the Echols household... Not sure if maybe Max is alittle too excited at the prospect of having the house all to himself. Grandma has put the idea in my head that he is planning on having "company" while we are away. WHy Grandma, WHY??? I was so happy... Maybe If I send Tiffany's mom over daily to peek in the windows.......

All my bags are packed I'm ready to go......

Woohoo, Teresa! I can't wait to read and see pics of your adventures. I am sure you know most of these, but here are a few of my favorite WDW tips (and I go peak season every trip)...

1. Shoes...if you are prone to getting blisters or already have one forming use deodorant. Just before you put your shoes on and walk out the door, rub it on the sides of your feet or back of your toes. It will prevent them from forming. I used to have a horrible time with blisters and would always end up in First Aid because they got so bad. Once I heard about this trick on the DIS, I haven't had a blister since...and that was years ago!

2. Fast Passes...Use the FP strategy of always having one while you go on a non-FP or short line attraction. Remember that you do not have to return within that hour window printed on the ticket. You can use it all day long.

3. Main Street...Walk through the shops to get either out of the park or in when there's a lot of traffic or a parade going on.

4. Break in Honor of Bawb...Enough said. ;)

5. EMH (at night)...I can't speak enough about this. Utilize the extra late Extra Magic Hours (think midnight at Epcot or until 3 am at Magic Kingdom). They are golden during peak season with little to no wait. I relax in the morning and get most attractions done during these. They are best during peak season because they are so late as compared to those held during regular or off-peak times during the year when they become crowded.

6. Use Foursquare and FB...Use your iPhone to track your trip. It's really a fun enhancement.

7. Kim Possible...Make sure you and Stella save the world over at Epcot! It's a fun break from the hectics of the parks!

8. Slow Down and HAVE FUN! :)

All of NikkiBell's advise is GREAT! My favorite is number 8 - Slow Down and Have FUN! Another one along those lines: You are in a truly Magical Place - Make some memories!

Have you started to pack?

I have my staging area set up. working on the laundry and the luggage is out and being sat on by the cats. Poor Klaus knows and looks alittle bummed. Stella is now in the mode: When are we leaving? can I take this? How long till we leave? and my personal favorite, How long will we have to drive? ( ok, Stella we were just over there last night, it won't take any longer then that). Max is worried about what he will eat while we are gone and will there be gas in the truck for him. :rotfl:

AWESOME!!!!! So excited, have a GREAT time!! Can't wait to read all about it!:thumbsup2

Oh the staging area...how fun! I love when the time comes to start pulling it all together. I think this past trip I had my clothes packed a week ahead. :rotfl: I get excited when the time to leave approaches!

Can't wait to hear all about the trip. It's fun that even though you live there in town you and the family are still excited about going. I went to WDW through out my childhood but it wasn't until 2006 that I actually stayed on site. It is soooo funny!

I have a staging area too! I am not going for another 3 weeks, but I already have my staging area started! :lmao:

I can't wait to hear about your trip!! Be sure to have Grace take her own notes... so we get a child's perspective! :flower3:

I'm gunna have to share that with my wife. She has her rules:

Dad can't complain without mom's permission

Mom sets the wake up times

My fav: You can't do everything, but you can have fun! We'll be back!

LOL..my cat Bella does the same thing. Only she likes to climb in the zipper pockets of my suitcase. Beware of any unusual lumps in the suitcase before you leave....or you may have 5 instead of 4 on your trip. Does a cat get to eat for free on the dining plan???:confused3
