I know he changed the lyrics but no one bats an eye at the song he chose? Knowing the lyrics and the meaning it's pretty incredible he thought it would be appropriate to use at a church or a wedding. The song has many biblical references but none, I'd think, a priest or couple getting married would find appropriate in this situation.

If he changed the lyrics why would it matter. The song has a beautiful melody.
