Wouldn't it be a logical assumption for Disney to provide direct transportation? I'm not understanding why people would assume they wouldn't?
Oh, no, she was very nasty to me and a few other people on the thread and then PM'd me! Hey, I hate admitting when I'm wrong as much as the next person, but, when you're wrong, you're wrong - and she did not like that one bit! lol!!!
We have done this numerous times while at Disney. Alot of times if we are standing at our resort and waiting for a particular bus and it don't come we will hop on one of the other parks buses and then get off and get on the bus we need. I guess people don't read the signs correctly because this is not something that has just happened!
Isn't it great when you find out there's a way to utilize your time in the parks better and to get your monies worth out of those park hoppers!! lol!!!Thanks for the tip about this - having read the boards for the last few years ive been under the belief (or DISbelief - haha i made a funny!) that I had to transfer all over the place just to get to a different park, which always seemed like a dumb idea.
Thanks v much![]()
Buses that go to the Animal Kingdom also stop at Blizzard Beach and buses that go to Downtown Disney also stop at Typhoon Lagoon.Gee, I've been reading these boards for a year and I didn't know this either! Thanks for clearing that up. How do waterparks fit into this?
You're welcome and buses to Downtown Disney only depart from the Resorts, so you can not go directly there from the parks. Thanks for the Waterpark info. Do buses go to DTD from the parks, just not to the parks from DTD?
Now that's a great idea! We are totally going to do that next time instead of waiting an hour for a certain bus.
Don't you mean you took the Monorail to the TTC, because there is no direct bus from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom.I know it sounds strange, but we waited 25 minutes one morning for the MK bus and it just did not come so we hopped on the Epcot bus and then when we arrived at Epcot got on the bus for MK. We weren't in a hurry so it was just a relaxing ride that morning!

We did that one day..we waited for a bus to Epcot for about 30 minutes. Finally, I just hopped on an MK bus and we used the TTC to go to Epcot. Now that's a great idea! We are totally going to do that next time instead of waiting an hour for a certain bus.

But, of course...and a dandy board it is!!!The Disney transportation system is very confusing for people who aren't familiar with it.
I guess that is why there is a Transportation board.![]()
Nope, there is no direct way to get from a park to DTD, and vice versa. No transportation between the two. Too many people were parking at DTD and then heading to the parks...they got the free parking, so I would assume it was mostly those who were not staying on-site that were doing that. Thanks for the Waterpark info. Do buses go to DTD from the parks, just not to the parks from DTD?
