This may be a dumb question but....

We have a trip set for the same time as the D23 convention... we planned it before realizing it was the same weekend.


Do you guys thing it's going to be MOBBED (seeing as how all the DLR are ALL booked for those days) or do you think the park will be lighter because everyone will be at the convention.


we could reshedule for the next week (but I'm dying to go and dont want to wait any longer!!!!)

I think personally during convention hours the parks should be manageable but when the convention lets out for the day I am betting the parks will be mobbed!! I also expect the days leading to and after the convention to be crowded as convention goers might want to get in park time before the convention or before they leave for home. I would look at the convention hours personally to see how they might effect things in the park.

In theory, crowds should be fine during those times when the D23 Expo is in session. Any time it's not in session though, all bets are off and we could see packed houses.

Which is probably just fine with Disney.

I'll be there the 6th-9th. I knew I'd have labor day and 1/2 marathon crowds but then hoped to have a couple of days with low crowds which now may not happen with the incoming convention folk (which I'd love to be a part of, but can't extend my trip..)
