This is one of the many reasons I love WDW. It's also why I'm posting these pictures here on the Disney for Families board. Take some pictures at WDW with your family now and be sure there is some kind of background that will still be there 30 years from now. Then take the same picture then!

We had to move our mom into a nursing home and I was going through some old photos. I had no idea these even existed! I was amazed to see the picture of me and my mom with our heads in the stockades at Liberty Square.

I went through our WDW trip photo albums and there was this picture, taken by our own DisneyDaughter (Lauren) when she was just 6 years old. I gave her the camera and said, "Take a picture of mom and dad with our heads and hands in the stockade!" It's weird, but now I look back and wonder if somewhere, deep down in my brain, I wanted a picture taken of me again in the same pose. I didn't even remember having done it before.

As far as I can figure out, the old picture is from 1977. I know the new one is from 2003.

Capture your memories now everyone!

Here's a few more from the same one day trip. The castle's brick was all white back then, it's since been given a more "stone" look with different gray color added to some bricks. Those trees must be alot taller now too! The line for Space Mountain is still long and I remember riding those sky gondolas (what were they called?) over the park!

I was looking through some pictures a while back that my Dad had taken of one of our many trips to Disney World (we used to live in FL). They were all of flowers, birds, and signs. Thanks Dad :confused3 :sad2:

My two sons and I always have a photopass picture taken in front of the castle on main street. We have done it for the past 6 years. We love looking back and comparing them.

Although something is WRONG with the photos because I keep shrinking in the photo's and I don't mean width wise!! My DS 15 is 6 feet 2 inches and my DS 12 is 5 feet 7 inches!!!

I took my first trip to Disney as an adult with my 3 kids who were 18 mo, 2 1/2, and 5 at the time. We have taken several trips since then and I take their pictures in the same places each time. DD, the baby, is now 21 and it is fun to look back and see how much she has changed over the years. We are planning a huge family trip in 3 years and I am looking forward to the same pictures with her DS in them and the start of a new tradition.

I always take a picture in front of the TIKIs in Adventure land....first trip 1983, last trip 2006...another generation now in the pictures!
