For the people that hire and the Gov. for doing nothing about it .They should all be in Jail.

I have nothing against Immigrents who come to our Great USA in the proper channels.

BUT nothing will be done because those making the rules are those breaking the rules.This goes for tougher DUI to this .Why would they make a law that would put them in jail.

And as for they just come here to work and make money to send home It's only 35% in a study that does just that.Most are just criminals coming to the FREE states.

The whole thing just makes me . I took my kids to see the Statue of Liberty and to Ellis Island this past weekend. What the immigrants who came here legally went through to be here was amazing. And they never EXPECTED anything. Oh boy I need to just stop there now before I say something totally NOT pc.

I think its time for the INS to pick up a few at the demonstration. I was talking to DH's secretary today who is fluent in Spanish, and his other secretary who is a legal immigrant...also fluent in Spanish. The office sees a lot of TB patients and care for them is free because it is essential to treat TB and try to stem the spread. She told me that when they fill out the paperwork, They write their names; often ficticious. Not many Hispanics have a first name of Kevin. There birthdays are also all the same; 01/01/fill in the year. They don't want to be traced. They make up the SS# on the spot, often asking each other for the correct format. They know their care for TB is free but often stop into the office for other "free" care. When they are referred to an appropriate clinic, they ask if that "is free too". As a citizen I am not asking for special rights but wouldn't it be nice to have the same rights that illegal immigrants have? My guess is that the throng of a half a million can't legally vote so their latin style political movement had better fall on deaf ears.

Read the new book on immigration by JD Hayworth, it is an eye-opener.

My solution is to gradually and strategically place the military along the border as they eventually leave Iraq. The fear of getting shot on sight would do wonders for this pandemic.

These groups try to say if your against illegals your against immegrants. That is alot of manure. If youve waited in line like my grandparents I say welcome on in. If you couldn't be bothered I say lets send them back.
Instead of just complaining here this is what I would suggest. Contact your US Senator to tell him or her how you feel pro or con on the matter. They all have web sites. They see the marches but not how the vast majority out here feel. Let's tell them how we feel and that we will remember them in the next election.

But that's the problem - they can't, because it would be considered racial profiling. I live about an hour and a half from the border, so I see these demonstrations often. Law enforcements hands are tied, and so are Border Patrol's. They're in the paper all the time, talking about how frustrating it is. Everyone is trying so hard to be PC that they can't even enforce their own laws.
