Great first day!! I can't wait to read more and see some Bertha pictures!!

I am surprised Bertha didn't disown us after we left her in the hotel room...

Well about that... errr.... I will have to finish it... but hopefully I will be starting a new PTR, my cousin is going in 2 months and the family that was going with them has backed out, and asked DH and I to go with...

Oooo.... Let me know when you start a new PTR, but I MUST see pics of the cruise!! Do you have them posted on Facebook, or like flikr??

I was surprised on how well those pics came out... They are normally hit and miss for me... Luckily Terry was taking the pictures so they turned out...

Good Start.

We would love to do a kids free trip, but can't get anyone to watch the kids for a week and it is a bit far from home.

We will just have to get a babysitter while we are there and head out for a night on our own.

Plus pretty sure my 5 and 3 year old wouldn't be as quite as understanding as your two were.

I was pretty shocked the kids were as ok with us going as they were... Tailor has decided that she doesn't like not going on vacation though, so I have a feeling that was the last adult trip for a while...

Looks like a great start. I can't believe the first stop smelled so bad and had no shot glasses. I always look for them as a gift for my DS.

I took my first adults only trip last year. My kids are all grown up and for our 25th anniversary we took our DGS. I liked the adults only so much I did 3 of them last year.

I have collected shot glasses for years, so it's always on my brain when I hit an airport... I was kinda shocked they didn't have any...

Congrats on your 25th!! Terry, my brother, and I threw a surprise 25th anniversary party for my parents last July, it was so much fun and they loved it!!

November 29th... Day2...

Let me just say, this is going to be interesting... I didn't take any notes... Like, AT ALL... For the entire trip... So I am going off my bad memory and what we have in pictures... Oh, and whatever Tracy knows...

So, apparently we went to HS...

Got a few pics in front of the big tree...





Made our way into the park...







We bee lined for RnRC... I had only been on this once, since I normally sit out with Tailor and send Terry with Alec... So this was kinda fun to be able to not have the who is going to sit out conversation!!







Ok, so I was a little nervous getting on the ride... Yes, true, I had rode one before, so I am a wienie... I LOVED IT!! I was feeling pretty brave... So SOMEHOW I let Terry talk me into this...



Yeah... And the scaffolding just made it creepier to me... I mean, what if the scaffolding was holding it up or something!!!

Ugh, what was I thinking!!!

Now, normally this is the spot where you would see some beautiful pictures of the queue for the ride... But SOMEBODY was being a huge chicken and was latched onto their spouses arm... But I am not naming names...

After defying death, we headed toward the big hat... And I may or may not have spent our life savings in this place on Dooney and Bourke handbags...



I have a really cute pic from inside the store, but will have to get Terry to upload it to Flikr from his phone...

Once I drooled enough we went to ride The Great Movie Ride...











I was ready to take on RnRC again, so we wandered in that direction...



We DID NOT go on the big tower of death again, but Terry did get a few more pictures...

Tee shirts and shorts, so sad that didn't happen much during the trip. Good for you getting to ride RnRC and TOT!!

I think we both took the same John Wayne picture, why does he pose the same way ??? He needs to get off the horse every once and a while and smile for the tourists .

We never get the cowboy hold up scene, might be because of the wheelchair accessible ride vehicle. I am going to ask next time!!

Terry took great pictures of TOT . Look at that gorgeous sky. I miss it already!! We miss you guys too .

November 29th... Part 2...

We started making our way out of the park at this point...









We took off for Pop, and went to our room to drop things off and reload... We had lunch reservations at Planet Hollywood!! I know this place gets a bad review on DIS, but we have always enjoyed it...



After a yummy lunch we wandered around DTD and shopped a bit... We were beginning to realize that not having the kids with us may cost us more money since we were feeling bed and seemed to find A LOT of things they couldn't live without...

Terry snapped a few pics around DTD...













Buss decided to cop a feel!! I couldn't believe the nerve of that guy!!

At this point we took off and headed back to Pop... We were SUPER excited because it was FINALLY time to meet Tracy and Bill... After talking, texting, instant messaging, and facebooking, the time was finally here...

We met them at their room, and I thought I would be nervous... But it was like meeting up with old friends, we were totally comfortable... And Bill is a hottie...

Together we took off for HS, once there Terry and I ran to RnRC and rode while Tracy and Bill handled some ticket business..



By the time we got done, Tracy and Bill were heading for TSM and we met up with them there... I was really excited to ride this, Terry and I had never rode together, one of us always took a kid.. And I was determined to beat him...



Terry decided to try and get a decent picture of Tracy and Bill during the ride... They love this ride and have so much fun on it, and he really wanted to capture that... Tracy of course, was not too please with Terry's quest...

I think he did pretty good...





It was really pretty cool how Disney handles accessibility on this ride... Terry and I both learned a lot about that this trip... It was eye opening in many ways...

We exited the ride and Terry snapped one more picture as we headed out of the park...



And one once we were out of the park...



We waited for a few buses to come and go before Bill was loaded onto a bus... If there was one thing that Terry and I learned this trip, it was how much the disabled endure when it comes to the buses... This wears on the patience through out the trip...

All of us were hungry and headed to the food court at Pop for a late dinner... Terry had some supreme nacho thing and I had the chicken fettuccine alfredo... Very yummy, hit the spot... We had great company and enjoyed just talking face to face with Tracy and Bill... If anyone gets the chance to meet up with Tracy and Bill, I highly recommend it... Bill is smart, funny, and a very sweet person... Tracy is caring, sincere, and FUN!! I never imagined that what began as a casual "hey, let's meet up for a bit" would turn into the life long friendship that we have... Terry and I are both so thankful for them being in our lives...

We talked for quite a while, Terry and I were fading fast, and we had an early morning breakfast ADR... We reluctantly said our good byes and went off to bed...
