This Is Us- Season two

the real question are you making any food in a crockpot
actually, yes. I also gave crockpots to my kids for xmas too. wonder what the crock pot company feels about it? I usually unplug mine when im finished, just out of sheer cheapness to not use electricity, as with my kitchen aid.

My crockpot is over 27 years old and still works like a charm LOL. I have an Instant Pot too, but it does not function well as a crock pot.
I think Audio was definitely some type of terrier mix, maybe mixed with Pug? He sure was cute! I cried when she left him there and I cried when we saw him sitting in the hallway. I was wondering why she would even tell Toby that she went and picked out a dog but didn't get him. And he was so understanding when she said that part, wonderful scene.
To me it makes sense that Jack will die because of the fire, since Kevin has so much guilt and unfinished business with Jack, and he left things terribly that night and had the chance to say sorry on the phone, like he did to Rebecca, but decided not to.

but I am questioning if I should leave it on while im gone... which like a pp said, it defeats the purpose of the convenience of the product, but it will be a thought...

I wonder if next week show is a recap of everything that lead of to the big show that leads up to Jacks death :( wow that super hard to type

On another message board, someone posted this:
I follow this is us on Twitter. Ken Olin posted that there is a show after the super bowl. Based on what he wrote, that's the episode we will see how Jack died.

Yes. Last night they showed previews for the next episode, which is after the Super Bowl, so no episode next Tues, and it said, "All questions will be answered" as it showed a pic of Jack. They also said to remember to set your DVR's and to make sure to add extra time in case the Super Bowl runs long.

they wont do it without jack, there's plenty of story to tell. you still see William. he's not going anywhere.
but not as much. I jsut don't see what stories there will be left to tell. I wonder if we won't see a ghost jack with the older kids

someone on another board said that would be the only way that Kevin could make amends if Jack was a ghost.

I seem to remember in one of the earlier episodes they showed Jack as a "ghost" I think to the present day Randall. I think it was outside and Randall was on a ladder doing something?

Yep, and 2 days after that episode, Tues the 6th, there will be another episode titled "Across the Border" which I believe will be the last episode for a few weeks due to the Olympics airing.

Okay, I'm going to say, I don't think Jack dies in the fire. I think something happens to him at the new fixer-upper house. That would explain the two house numbers. I think they're going to have to move into that house, super-quick, because this house burned down.

If you remember, when the kids are at someone else's house, they have the dog with them, and nobody knows where Kevin is (because he and Sophie went to the party in the woods). They aren't devastated because their dad died, their upset because they lost their house (IMHO--worth what you paid for it!). And it's a "day they'll always remember"--at first, because it's the last Superbowl before the kids leave for college, but later because it's their last night in the house they grew up in.

This is my thought, exactly. It's not the fire that kills him. Something happens in the new house they buy.
