This is Us- Season six

Sophie attends the engagement party for Kate and Phillip with her husband. Sophie & Kate have renewed their friendship. Kevin mentions to Kate he's going to go say hi to her. That's the only hint we have. Also, apparently he has gone through a string of actress girlfriends who advertise a variety of products (insurance, verizon, condoms...)
That was Madison At the engagement party.

It was nice to see Toby happy in the flash forward. That was the same person he was flirting with right.
That doesn’t answer the question why he was alone in bed when called to see Rebecca in the very first flash forward.

Okay, so I just rewatched it and Sophie and her husband are definitely at the engagement party talking at the bar. Madison is there too with her husband and is pregnant. After Madison walks away saying "you put this baby in me". Kevin sees Sophie at a distance and tells Kate he's happy they renewed their friendship.

Nothing on Sophie but Kevin dating a lot of girls. We saw a different at the 2 year birthday party than the one at the engagement party.

They also called them the Big 3 . Meaning the Twins and Haley since they were born the same time.
Omg I need sleep. Disregard my earlier post.

Soooo, Madison is pregnant again and Sophie is married?

And here's a weird little nugget I found out last month. The actress who plays Sophie is the niece of the guy in Bull & Dark Angel.

I only know him as a man who was engaged to Jessica Alba when she was barely out of her teens - if she even was - and about three hundred years younger than him. :rotfl2::drinking1

I thought it was interesting that Jack did end up being a husky child. Especially considering how slim the adult Jack is.

Seeing them age Rebecca even more was heart breaking for me. I‘m going to need a big box of tissues when/if a future episode shows her passing.

Overall it was a good episode. I started laughing even before Kate did when I Will Always Love You started playing.

And I’m glad they showed Kate and Toby being able to co-parent and still be able to talk with one another after the divorce. My brother and sister-in-law divorced after 33 years of marriage, and they won’t talk with each other even though they have 2 adult daughters and 3 grand children together. Consequently, the daughters won’t invite him (or me and my mom) to any event where my ex-SIL is. I end up missing birthday parties and holidays, and I have to say that it hurts. Having said all of that, I can understand why my nieces do this. They don’t want any potential drama at what should be a fun event.

So very sorry. That's awful.

Wow, that was a kaleidoscope! Almost too much flipping forward and back for me. But I did really like the juxtaposition of Kate and Toby's marriage disintegrating while we see the beginning steps of her relationship with Philip building. I like their chemistry and his growing relationship with her kids.

To be honest, I didn't believe Toby's suddenly wanting to be back with her again. I believed him fully, though, while he was railing at her over their late night dinner "date" in their home. I believed him fully while he was being sullen and pissed off during the counseling sessions (really? 16 months--that stretched credulity for me). This was not Chris Sullivan's acting that I didn't believe, but the writing/plot device that Toby can't stand to give her up. He has not been into her for a long time.

I did love Kate's very quiet "It's over.....It's time." Also loved her sadness in hearing his voice on her wedding day, even though he was calling to say that she had been right. Emotions are complex and those to do with break-ups probably are the most complex of all.

Like always, I enjoyed and appreciated the episode--it just had too much time-switching for my preference.
