This is Us- Season four

It seemed that Kevin and the guy he saved knew each other. He did look familiar but I don’t know if it was from another show or another episode of this is us. Or did he just recognize him because he’s famous?

I think he recognized Kevin, since Kevin is famous. I'm wondering if this guy will turn out to be someone that will end up being important in Kevin's life.

I'm hopeful he goes public with what Kevin did for him -- which will put the film production company in a very exposed position if they decide to fire Kevin from the film, or attempt to take it further and sue him because he delayed production. I think the storyline was that Kevin accepted the part under the agreement the film was happening locally in LA, then the production company moved it to Vancouver for costs or Covid. IMO even the show must go on has limits, and the humane thing was to let the man leave to attend the birth of his children.

I was thinking that too, people have to have situations where they lose or have their ID stolen right before a flight and provisions are set in place for that. Let's hope Kevin does get back in time.
Without getting into the long convoluted story (it was a terrible travel day all around), my mom had to get through security without ID a few years ago.

I know someone who flew without ID when they lost their drivers license in Florida. It is possible.

I did not recognize Joshua Malina. I guess it has been a lot of years (for all of us) since The West Wing.

I never watched west wing but I’ve probably seen him on other shows. I just thought he knew Kevin from the way they conversated but it was probably him recognizing him from The Manny.

Kevin was too abrupt quitting with the Director on the phone. I have a feeling that the director telling him to turn around was so he could help him get home. Like DiNirio was offering his private plane or something.

I liked this episode. I loved the scenes with middle school Kevin and Jack. I hate that Kevin overheard Jack tell Rebecca that he was soft and how it was eating at him.

On another note, if you haven't watched Brothers & Sisters, you definitely should. I just finished binging it. I watched the entire series in just a couple weeks because I liked it to much. It very much has a similar feel to This is Us - A family that on the outside looks "perfect", but in actuality is pretty dysfunctional.

Not my favourite episode. Like others have said, it didn’t feel like we got any further ahead. I agree that we will have big three centric episodes. I wonder if the back story of Randall’s mom counts as his.

My sister told me she was crying at the end of the episode. I think she’s a big softy lol

I wonder if the back story of Randall’s mom counts as his.

I think since Randall specifically noted on his phone call with Madison that they were driving home from New Orleans it means the NO episode was "his." I felt like that line from him was to make sure we knew that Kevin's stuff was happening at the exact same time that Randall's stuff was happening. I assume next week will be all about Kate's adoptive baby being born as her episode.

My daughter recently gave birth and was concerned that she could possibly have to labor alone due to COVID.

Congratulations to you all.

I have to go to regular appointments where I am always surrounded by pregnant women. I have always been sensitive to how it must be during this virus, but I really took it in this time how much extra pressure Covid must put on this joyous time for many.
