I have not been to the movies in 3 years! We just never seem to have time to go there and sit for a couple of hours... I know we could make time, but DH and I are not really into it.

There was a stretch of about 7 years where it was a rarity for DH and I; but we used to go a fair bit and now that DS is a bit older, we seem to be going to more G rated films more than anything else.

I'm sort of like that. But it's nice going once in a while with my uni friends...
It's the price that stops me mostly...

But it's just I have passes to use

Maybe MIB III???

Thanks! A concise list. Event cinema website drives me nuts...

Thank you as well for solving the smiley conundrum...
Explains it being that way on the iphone too....

I could get google chrome but I don't know how it is either?

I really need to spend a bit of time re-loading Firefox and Chrome on my new laptop.

Chrome should be okay?? (And I did use 2 question marks here; not smileys!)

I have not tried Chrome... It was just hard for me to get used to so I stopped using it. Do you like it?

HAHA....thanks...They are SPECIAL blue question marks that used to be smileys ;)

Eh...I'll see how it is tomorrow night...

You liking the new laptop?

Not really. But when IE crashes a lot, it gives me an alternative to use. Photobucket and IE don't seem to like each other much. I've been using Firefox to log into PB; and occassionally Chrome instead of IE.

Still getting used to it. Not sure I like viewing my photos on the new laptop. The colours all seem to be on steroids; so I'm not sure how they are coming out on your side of things.

I would use Chrome over IE...as I found it faster and better.
When mum was booking Qantas Domestic flights once we had to get something other than IE as IE wasn't working. The Qantas phone staff said to get chrome :lmao:

But Safari is the one I love best

I use firefox for photobucket, but seem to have more trouble now that they changed up the edit options.

P.S. Half of the smiles are red question marks now with IE

The Parade photos are UBER bright. Real Punch.

I adore the resolution on my macbook screen...and I like how your photos appear. But it's hard to know what you're 'looking' for.

I know looking at the same photo on the crappy work Dell screen vs my laptop there is a vast difference. It seems to granulate things more.

I know that for my JOB I can only use IE, but personal stuff I have used firefox for ages... I think the JOB stuff will work on Chrome as some have moved over to it...

It varies so much at companies. I use IE at work. Everything is Microsoft...
But IE does have issues?
DBF loves firefox...but I never used it. I jumped straight to chrome. Which takes some getting used to. But it is faster.

I don't know how they work to make a difference...but...that's my experience??

Of course the internet at both work and home can go on the fritz at any moment so it could be anything...

PB has been working fine with IE; albeit with a few minor issues. I'm definitely going to have to download Chrome and Firefox this weekend if I can.

Smiles bank is reasonably fine at my end...

I was worried about whether the pictures were a little dark. Glad to hear that they are fine at your end. I normally meter my camera a little bit below the recommended brightness. Because of the grey mist at HK, it was hard to know where to pitch the metering.

yes same here.... I work for the Govt, and they require IE, there application will not run on anything but IE... Something about security, which makes me laugh when you mention security and IE in the same sentence...

Brandi - how long more before you head to Vegas? It must be in the next couple of days or so?

I haed there on Thursday....I know we are ready to get away from here, but we have not planned much for the trip... I think we are just gonna wing it!

Well they are clear and bright here :)
But I do see the difference form screen to screen. Plus again it looks different when printed as well...

Having seen the parade in person I can say they look like a perfect picture of how it is.
They are very clear and bright (despite the dull sky) but they don't look overdone...
It is a bright parade and the costumes perfect.

Maybe it's the brightness settings? I have my laptop on low brightness much of the time but kick it up when looking at photos a bit. But yours are good in either settings.
